Chapter - 2853

The group went into the spatial passage.

Sole Wolf asked cautiously, "How are you related to the King of Dragons, Zeke?"

"Can't you guess?" the man replied. "Although Fortuna's memories have been partially restored, its power has not fully recovered. It's incapable of dealing with multiple primordial beasts and Theos concurrently. As Theos is our common enemy, I had an agreement with Fortuna to join forces to set a trap. We lured Theos and the primordial beasts to this location so that we can eliminate them together."

Ares had a sudden realization. "So, when the King of Dragons told us to come to Dragon King Pit, it was actually a message for Theos and the others. It wanted to lure them here."

"That's right." Zeke nodded.

"How about your Dragon King Sword?" Sole Wolf asked.

"The King of Dragons secretly made it for me."

Everyone was astonished at such a revelation.

Before long, they arrived at the end of the spatial passage.

It opened directly above where Theos and his followers were positioned.

However, they remained oblivious to the spatial passage's existence as well as Zeke and his companions' presence.

Zeke surveyed the crowd until his gaze fell on Warren, Karter, and Erebus.

"I didn't expect these three to be here. Looks like they have either joined forces with Theos or have submitted to him. But why can't I see Theos?" he mused aloud.

Apart from the three individuals, there was no one else present.

Quinlan furrowed his brows and asked, "Zeke, do you have a twin brother?"

"Call me 'Master"," Zeke corrected him.

Quinlan hesitated before continuing, "Well, Master..."

"No. Are you referring to the person who bears an uncanny resemblance to me?"

Quinlan nodded. "Yeah, the one who looks just like you."

"He is actually a mere shadow that was split from my body," Zeke explained.

"If I'm not mistaken, it must be Netherworld's work. They have always excelled in shadow techniques."

"You're right," Zeke affirmed. "Quinlan, I'm surprised you know about them. Looks like they have existed for a significant period of time."

Haha!

Quinlan chuckled and mocked, “Young man, you are quite ignorant-"

Before he could continue, Zeke interrupted, “Call me 'Master."

Can we even have a proper conversation? I shouldn't have talked to him in the first place.

Enduring the humiliation, Quinlan reluctantly said, "Master, during the ancient era, four major tribes existed: the Gods, humans, the tribe of Mount Kush, and the Netherworlds. During its

prime, Netherworlds were on par with humans. So, of course, Netherworld existed for a long time."

Zeke was caught off guard by the revelation.

While he was aware that Netherworld had a long history and possessed formidable power, he never expected them to be strong enough to stand equal with humans.

I may have underestimated Netherworld all these while.

Zeke glanced around the scene and saw no one but Karter, Erebus, and Warren.

"Where's Theos? Why isn't he here?” Zeke frowned.

"Quinlan, what does Theos look like? Is he human or a primordial beast?"

Zeke had only interacted with Theos once back when the latter kidnapped Lacey.

During that encounter, Theos appeared as a large hand, and Zeke had never seen his face.

Quinlan replied, "He appears in human form, of course."

"But there are only three humans present, and there's no sign of Theos. Wait a moment, there's something peculiar about Warren," Zeke uttered.

Upon closer observation, he realized that Warren's demeanor and actions. were different from before; there was a newfound air of arrogance and authority in his actions and speech.
