Chapter - 2856

Zeke had to team up with Sole Wolf and the others just to kill Minotaur a few days ago, and that was only possible with the help of Fortuna.

However, the King of Dragons was able to kill all three primordial beasts in one strike.

At that moment, Zeke truly realized how weak he was in comparison to the King of Dragons.

“If I recall correctly, Minotaur nearly killed the King of Dragons in battle a few days ago! How did it become so powerful all of a sudden? I can't believe it just killed three primordial beasts with ease!" Sole Wolf whispered.

"That's because the King of Dragons is regaining its powers very quickly. It had recovered less than one percent of its power during its battle with Minotaur the other day," Quinlan explained.

"How much power has the King of Dragons recovered now?" Zeke asked.

"About half, I guess," Quinlan replied.

Everyone's heart raced when they heard that.

Only half? If the King of Dragons is already that powerful now, then wouldn't it be able to easily wipe out all of humanity at full strength? How could such an overpowered being exist in this world?

With a satisfied grin on its face, the King of Dragons consumed the spirit pills of the three primordial beasts before flying toward the portal of the spatial passage and glaring at the primordial beasts beneath it.

The primordial beasts fell into chaos after watching three of their kind disappear before their very eyes.

Fortunately, Theos was around to maintain order, so the primordial beasts quickly calmed down and constructed an energy barrier.

The King of Dragons took a deep breath and roared at them in a majestic and authoritative voice, "Do you all know what you are guilty of?"

Theos and the primordial beasts grew increasingly nervous when they heard that voice.

"W-Who are you?" Theos asked cautiously.

The King of Dragons simply repeated, "Do you all know what you are guilty of?"

Theos swallowed anxiously before asking, "W-What are we guilty of?"

"You all disturbed me from my sleep! Don't you think that's a crime worthy of severe punishment?"

"Huh? We disturbed you from your sleep? Have you been living here?" Theos asked in confusion.

"My palace is right beneath Theos Island, and the ancient sector is my bedchamber," the King of Dragons replied.

Everyone at the scene was shocked and speechless when they heard that.

What? We woke up the mysterious powerful being that has been residing underneath Theos Island? This ancient sector is its bedchamber?

They all felt a looming sense of danger when they realized the situation they were in.

Scared out of his wits, Theos instinctively fell on his knees and said, "We are truly sorry for disturbing you from your sleep! Please punish us as you see fit!"

The primordial beasts, too, knelt before the King of Dragons in fear.

The King of Dragons smiled when it saw how easy it was to fool them. How did these clowns even succeed in their rebellion back then?

"Hey, Quinlan! Isn't it a little inappropriate for the King of Dragons to be doing this? What if it ends up waking the real deal? I bet it would be mad if it found out that someone was impersonating it!" Zeke asked.

Quinlan wiped the cold sweat off his forehead as he replied, “I-It's true that the King of Dragons has made a mistake, but it should be fine. The being underneath the ground has been in deep slumber all this while.

Zeke cut him off, "No, it has already woken up. Have you forgotten how it reached Lacey through her dreams?"

Quinlan's face went pale instantly. "Oh, no... In that case, the one underground must know that the King of Dragons is impersonating it! If it gets mad, then we will need to cut ties with the King of Dragons! F*ck! Why would the King of Dragons act without thinking?"

The King of Dragons cleared its throat before continuing, “I am Terrachus! Do you really think an apology is going to cut it?"

Huh? Terrachus?

Theos froze in confusion for a moment before realizing what that name meant.
