Chapter - 2861

With the added pressure from the village chief, Killer Wolf, and Tyler, Karter and Erebus found themselves at a disadvantage.

However, being experienced warriors, they maintained an upper hand over Sole Wolf and others.

Meanwhile, Quinlan continued to dominate over Theos.

Quinlan, the man of the highest pecking order on Theos Island, had once been close to the King of Dragons and learned much from the man, ranking just below the latter in power.

He would not have been defeated if it had not been for Theos' treachery.

Now, with Quinlan's onslaught, Theos was repeatedly at death's door, and he was paralyzed by fear and anxiety.

I can't go on like this anymore. I'm going to die! What should I do? Should I seek help from primordial beasts? No way, they're beaten to a pulp by the King of Dragons. There's no way they could help me out right now.

As his mind raced, Theos' gaze fell upon Lacey.

Lacey! That's right, I have her to turn to!

Then, it dawned on Theos that Lacey was a pure-blooded descendant of Gods, and he had an inkling that she might even have descended from the ancient emperor of Gods.

If he could consume just a single drop of her blood, it would greatly enhance his strength. Theos reckoned he might even partially gain the strength of the ancient emperor of Gods.

By then, not only the menial Quinlan had to bow to him, but even the King of Dragons had to prostrate himself before Theos.

This thought filled Theos with excitement.

In a rage, he pushed Quinlan out of the way and lunged toward Lacey..

Pangolin and Anteater were caught by surprise and immediately came to her defense.

If the woman had so much as lost a single strand of hair, Zeke would have killed them.

"Die!" Theos bellowed, launching attacks at Pangolin and Anteater.

Two balls of energy blasted at them both, sending the two primordial beasts flying in a projectile.

Since their spirit pills had already been snatched away by the King of Dragons, they were naturally no match for Theos.

As a mere mortal with no fighting skills, Lacey was easily captured.

"Stay still, or I'll kill you!" Theos held the woman by her neck and threatened her with a stern look on his face.

Overwhelmed by fear, Lacey stammered, "D-Don't kill me... PPlease don't-kill me..."

With a wretched smile on his face, Theos warned, "Do as I say if you do not wish to die."

Lacey immediately agreed to his demands.

Zeke, in the throes of his own fight, noticed that Lacey had been captured. Alarmed, he repelled his enemies and dashed toward the woman.

"Theos, if you dare to hurt even a single strand of hair on Lacey, I will kill every single member of your family!" Zeke roared.

Theos broke into an evil chortle and said, "Don't worry. I won't hurt her hair. I just want some of her blood."

He then turned to Lacey, demanding, "Now, hand over your blood to me."

Bemused, the woman asked, "Blood? What do you want my blood for?"

"Quit yakking! Give me your blood. I'm going to cut off your head if you keep spouting nonsense!" a livid Theos bellowed.

"But I can't give you my blood yet. My period is not until the fifteenth of this month. How can I give you my blood then?" Lacey asked.

What the hell is she talking about?

Theos was infuriated. "I'm talking about blood in your body, not your period blood!"

"How else are you going to draw blood from me?" Lacey continued to ask.

Then, it dawned on Theos that Lacey was a mere mortal and was oblivious to the extent to which warriors would go to achieve their means.

"When I say blood, I mean your Soul Blood. Now use all your energy and hit yourself on the left chest to force out your Soul Blood. If you can't do that, I'll suck your whole body dry to get them," Theos threatened.

Horrified, Zeke berated, "Theos! How dare you!"

Theos broke into a chortle. "Well, come try me. Come on, make your move."

"Lacey, no-"
