With that, Pietro wanted to attack the King of Dragons.

"Wait! Wait! Don't attack me! Please have mercy, my father-in-law..." King of Dragons begged.

A thud rang out before Zeke could finish his sentence, and the water man had sent King of Dragons out of Zeke's body with a kick.

"Zip it!" The water man came out from Zeke's body. Despite being a spiritual sense, which was weak compared to King of Dragons, the water man was eager to beat the King of Dragons up.

Seeing that, the King of Dragons yelled, "Stop, my father-in-law! Your daughter is still alive. In fact, we even have a daughter of our own. We're a happy family. You'll never see your daughter and granddaughter if you kill me now. Furthermore, your daughter will despise you for the rest of her life!"

What? The water man shuddered and looked at King of Dragons in shock. "What did you say? Did you say my daughter is still alive? Are you serious? Are you telling me the truth?"

"Of course! Why would I joke about my wife's and my daughter's lives?” King of Dragons replied.

"Haha!" The water man laughed out loud. With joy written all over his face, he said, "I knew my daughter wouldn't have died so easily! D*mn it! Are you the one who told everyone my daughter was dead? I was mourning for her for ages!"

Why would I do that? King of Dragons protested instantly, "Why would I curse my wife and daughter to die? Others with ulterior motives spread that fake news. Not only did humans not approve of my relationship with Linda, but Dragon Race didn't give us their blessing, either. Hence, some of the battle-hungry individuals of Dragon Race lied and said that everyone someone in Dragon Race killed Linda. They merely wanted to create a conflict between Dragon Race and humans, and they nearly succeeded. At the critical moment, humans went to war with Gods instead. Ultimately, that prevented a war between humans and Dragon Race from happening."

Hearing that, the water man quickly demanded to see his daughter, Linda White. "Where's my daughter now? I want to see her."

"I'm also longing to see Linda and my daughter. However, it's hard for me to return to Dragon Race now. Linda and your granddaughter are safe and sound with Dragon Race. Besides, you're injured now. There's no way you can make your way back to Dragon Race. Once I strengthen up, I might be able to go back." King of Dragons let out a sigh.

Since King of Dragons and the water man had made peace with each other, they both returned to Zeke's body.

Seeing that, Zeke gulped and asked, "Master, is it safe for us to drink the water from Apex River?"

"Of course, you can. However, drink the water from the deeper part of the river. The top part of the water is corroded by a death aura. If you drink it, death aura will infiltrate your body," the water man answered.

"Thanks for the reminder, Master," Zeke uttered.
