Chapter - 2943

Tiger King, who had always been devoted to his craft and had little regard for matters of love, completely overlooked the presence of Red Foxes.

It wasn't until they had journeyed for two whole hours that Red Foxes brought the group to Aged Ginseng's territory.

Sienna declared, “Aged Ginseng's home is right down below."

Tiger King ordered, "Take us there."

"Okay."

With that, Sienna instructed her compatriots to begin digging up the ground.

After digging for a short while, Red Foxes broke their nails. Blood subsequently oozed out, making for a pitiful sight.

Truth be told, if they had dug in their original form, they would have done so more efficiently and not hurt their claws in the process.

Nonetheless, Sienna had ordered her compatriots to maintain their human form and look miserable doing the work.

Her plan was to elicit Theos' sympathy so that he would be moved to protect them.

Reality soon proved that she was right.

The sight of Sienna's blistering fingers melted Theos' heart. He decided to stop them from digging and smashed his palm down on the ground's surface.

The resulting crater revealed a tunnel underneath it.

Sienna pointed out at once, "This tunnel leads to Aged Ginseng's home."

"Let's go in!" Tiger King was the first to jump down.

Unfortunately, his huge body couldn't fit inside the hole.

Nevertheless, he shrunk himself into the size of a cat with a shake of his body. The resulting form looked particularly adorable.

Noticing that Red Foxes had their hands covered in blisters, Erebus brought out a spirit pill. "Ladies, use this to treat your wounds."

"Huh?"

Flattered by the concern shown by Erebus, Sienna and the others quickly thanked him.

Little did they expect Erebus to be taken in by their charms.

The fact that he offered them a spirit pill showed that he was more generous than Theos, who had not given them anything whatsoever.

Despite his emotionless expression, Theos sniggered to himself.

It seems Elder Erebus has succumbed to Red Foxes Seduction Technique. It's clear that he has developed feelings for them. Sooner or later, he'll be entrapped by them.

In reality, Theos was just pretending to be mesmerized by Red Foxes, for he knew that they would serve a great purpose in their journey ahead.

Meanwhile, Tiger King pestered them from inside the tunnel, "Hey, what are you spacing out for? Hurry up and jump in."

Without further delay, Theos jumped into the hole to join the former as they began to explore it.

The underground hole was actually a complicated system of tunnels that were linked together like a spider web. As a result, trying to locate Aged Ginseng's home was close to impossible.

In the end, Tiger King and Theos used the same method as Zeke-they unleashed their energy into the entire tunnel system to search for it.

A short while later, they managed to locate Heavenly Stone.

Upon rushing forward, they were dismayed when they finally saw it.

Tiger King could immediately tell that Heavenly Stone was exceptionally hardy.

Our combined strength is not going to be enough to open it.

Soon, reality proved Tiger King right, for they failed to smash the stone open despite attempting for half a day.

In fact, they couldn't even land a crack on it.

Finally, all of them collapsed on the ground, panting heavily.

"I can't do this anymore. T-There's no way we can open Heavenly Stone."

"What should we do? Are we going to give up just like that?"

"What choice do we have? This Heavenly Stone is unbreakable. There's no way we can crack it open with our current strength."

"Whatever will be, will be. It seems we just have no luck with those Ginseng Dolls."

"Let's go."

However, the defiant Raccoon Queen remarked, "Are we really going to give up just like that? Why don't we try something else? Perhaps we can think of a solution by putting our heads together. Nothing in this world is perfect. It must have some kind of flaw."

Theos retorted, "So what if it does? It's not like we can find it anytime soon. Don't forget the real reason we're here, so let's not get distracted."
