Chapter - 2969

Theos and the rest immediately started to panic.

Damn it! Are Zeke and his men here?

Dealing with Lacey was already challenging enough. If Zeke and his men showed up, Theos and the others might face a huge disaster.

Warily, they looked over and were ready to flee at any moment.

When they finally recognized who had shown up, Theos and his comrades breathed a sigh of relief.

The ones who arrived were not Zeke but his three weak subordinates- Ares, Tyler, and Alfred.

They were not very strong.

Even if Theos and his comrades couldn't eliminate Lacey and the other three, at the very least, they wouldn't be threatened by them.

Ares, Tyler, and Alfred ran frantically toward Lacey.

They were panic-stricken.

Damn it. How did Lacey end up alone and even in the hands of Theos and the others? Theos and the rest are pretty powerful. It seems that we might be doomed.

However, even if death was inevitable, they must fight to protect Lacey.

Killing one would be worth it, and killing two would mean they were ahead, although the likelihood of them killing any enemy almost didn't exist.

Upon seeing Ares and the rest charging toward her, Lacey panicked instantly.

Lacey could protect herself.

However, if they tagged along, she might be unable to protect them when the enemies launched an attack. Their lives could be in danger.

I must stop them from getting close to me at all costs.

Lacey urgently raised her voice and shouted at Ares and the others, "Stop and don't come closer. Don't worry. I can handle them myself and won't be in danger. Just watch from a distance."

There was no way Ares and the others would possibly believe Lacey's words.

Lacey was just an ordinary girl. Even an amateur martial artist could easily kill her.

No one would believe she could take on a group of mighty warriors alone.

Ares and the others didn't slow down. Instead, their paces quickened.

Lacey sweated profusely from panic as she yelled at them. However, they paid her no heed and quickly rushed to her side to join forces with her.

Lacey was somewhat exasperated. Why won't you all listen? This is great. I might not be able to protect you all.

Ares, Tyler, and Alfred surrounded Lacey. "Lacey, don't worry. Even if it costs us our lives, we will ensure you escape safely."

Lacey immediately said, “Listen to me carefully, all of you. Just take care of yourselves later. Please don't worry about me."

Ares glanced at Lacey in surprise. "Lacey, you're acting a bit odd today. Did they scare you?"

For a moment, Lacey didn't know how to explain.

Theos looked at the three, his expression somewhat displeased. "Damn it. How could you all possibly have survived crossing the grand canyon?"

Ares laughed. "All thanks to you. You blocked the blade energy, allowing us to escape unscathed."

Damn it!

Theos yelled angrily, "How dare you secretly follow us?"

Ares added, "You insisted on walking ahead of us. We simply followed behind. You were actually blocking our way."

What a jerk!

Theos was furious. "You shameless humans. I'll end your lives today! Kill them!"

After Theos gave the order, they launched their strongest attacks simultaneously.

The four who survived were all warriors.

They unleashed their most powerful attacks at the same time. A radiant light suddenly obscured the entire area. Lacey and the three found themselves encircled at the very center.

The attack was so intense that it sent vibrations into the air, tore the ground apart, and scattered the clouds in the sky. The scene was terrifyingly shocking.

Theos and the rest laughed in satisfaction. The power they wielded when they joined forces was even beyond their expectations.

Lacey and the others were now in a situation where death was inevitable.
