Chapter - 2981

Soon, Zeke and the others arrived at the location where the light pillar had disappeared.

Zeke's heart raced as he looked at those few figures.

The person in the very middle was none other than Lacey.

Surrounding Lacey were three individuals. To Zeke's surprise, they were Theos, Tiger King, and Erebus.

D*mn it! How did Lacey end up with these people? Are they holding her hostage?

He rushed toward Lacey without hesitation. "Lacey, come over here quickly."

At that time, only Lacey remained conscious and unscathed at the scene.

The spiritual consciousness of Theos and the rest were severely injured, leaving them somewhat disoriented.

Lacey was surprised and delighted when she saw Zeke. "Zeke, I've finally found you. I'm glad you're fine."

She was about to rush toward Zeke after saying that.

But Theos, Tiger King, and Erebus also. came back to their senses.

They immediately got up and surrounded Lacey, commanding, “Stop right there! Everyone stay put, or don't blame us for taking a move against her."

Zeke and the others immediately stopped in their tracks warily. "You're courting death, Theos."

Theos sneered, "Courting death? Well, I'm curious to know who will be the one to die today. Zeke, break one of your arms immediately, or I'll take Lacey's life."

"You..." Zeke felt a sense of crisis.

"Don't mind them, Zeke. They won't dare to hurt me. If they could hurt me, I wouldn't have been able to make it here to see you," Lacey quickly called out.

Realization dawned on Zeke immediately.

Only then did he recall that Lacey's self-defense abilities were potent, and no one below the Eternal Class could harm her.

He was too nervous and worried earlier that he had completely forgotten about it.

After Lacey finished speaking, she strutted forward with great confidence.

Tiger King and Erebus could only watch her left, not daring to make a move.

If they attacked Lacey, her self-defense abilities could severely injure them at the least or even take their lives.

It was indeed not wise to suffer a heavy blow at that moment.

Theos told Tiger King. “Lord Tiger King, now is a great opportunity for us to take them down. You will deal with Quinlan, and I'll handle Zeke. As for Lacey and those two followers, we can totally ignore them. Erebus, it's your job to hold them off."

Zeke, Quinlan, Tiger King, and Theos had developed their spiritual pills and became the Sun and Moon Class warriors.

Besides, both Theos and Tiger King were already experienced warriors. They were confident in their ability to deal with Zeke and Quinlan.

Tiger King nodded in agreement. "Okay, I agree.”

After that, Theos and Tiger King joined forces to launch an attack on Zeke and Quinlan.

"Hmph! Let's see what you'll do then." Quinlan and Zeke refused to be outdone.

The duo launched an attack, too.

But then, a bizarre scene unfolded.

Whether it was Theos and Tiger King, or Zeke and Quinlan, they could no longer launch an attack.

Their energy, divine power, or all sorts of strengths had vanished entirely.

None of them knew what was happening.

Everyone was dumbfounded, finding it hard to believe.

They tried several times, only to find that the powers they had cultivated were gone.

If they were to continue the fight, they could only rely on the strength of their physical bodies.

The scene of four Sun and Moon Class warriors having a hand-to-hand battle was beyond imagination.

No one wanted to be disgraced in that way.

However, pride did not matter

anymore in the face of intense hatred.

Zeke took the lead and charged toward Theos.

Before humans developed their energy, they had to train their bodies.

As such, the strength of the human martial artist's physical body was greater than that of the Gods.

Zeke was confident that he could defeat Theos.

Theos realized he might be no match for Zeke in the physical confrontation.

He glared at Zeke indignantly before he turned around and fled.

"Let's get out of this hellhole. Something's not right here."

Tiger King, too, had no intention of fighting and turned to leave.
