Chapter - 2999

Things would get serious if the demonic beasts notice them, for they would be killed!

Unexpectedly, over a thousand demonic beasts were held captive in this tiny Terrachus Tower.

The demonic beasts wreaked havoc for over half an hour before they finally all ran off.

The scene returned to tranquility. However, in everyone's minds, the roar of the beast continued to echo.

If these demonic beasts were to invade the humans, even if it doesn't lead to the humans' extinction, it was estimated that more than half of the humans would be slaughtered.

Given the current strength of the humans, it was simply not enough to deal with such ferocious and violent beasts.

Zeke and the others must return to the humans as soon as possible to slay the demonic beasts.

However, before leaving, they must first get rid of Theos.

Theos was the main culprit of all these troubles.

Zeke crushed a spirit pill and absorbed its spiritual energy to replenish his own strength and heal his injuries.

He advanced step by step toward Theos. "Theos, I will surely take your life today!"

Theos was not to be outdone. "Tiger King, come! These people have become a force to be reckoned with. If we don't eliminate them now, given time, they will surely pose a threat to our lives. Strike while the iron is hot!"

Roar!

Tiger King leaped from the pinnacle of Terrachus Tower and landed next to Theos. An aura of murderous intent billowed around Tiger King.

The people from Zeke's side also gradually gathered around Zeke.

Squirrel, Quinlan, Draco, Sole Wolf, Killer Wolf, and Lacey...

Zeke lowered his head to look at the fragments of Aged Ginseng, feeling a sense of sorrow in his heart.

It seemed that Aged Ginseng might never be able to fight alongside them again.

"Kill them for me! Avenge the humans and Aged Ginseng!"

With a command from Zeke, he led his men to charge toward Theos and Tiger King.

Theos and Tiger King also charged into the battle.

But what was unexpected was that as soon as Zeke and the others took a step, a burst of light suddenly emitted from under their feet, enveloping them all.

Zeke and his companions were instantly immobilized, as if they were pinned down by a Heavenly Stone's oppressive force, unable to move at all.

What's going on?

Zeke and the others were somewhat confused.

Suddenly, Terrachus' voice echoed from beneath their feet.

"We've succeeded, we've succeeded! Great job, Theos, Tiger King!"

Without a doubt, the light shield suppressing Zeke and his companions. came from Terrachus, who was beneath their feet.

Theos and Tiger King were thrilled after being praised by Terrachus. “It's our honor to serve you, Master Terrachus."

Terrachus said, "Now, you are free again, you may leave."

Theos and Tiger King exchanged a glance, then suddenly, they knelt down in unison.

"Master Terrachus, we pledge to follow you through generations and serve you faithfully..."

Terrachus chuckled lightly, "You wish to serve me? I'm sorry, but you're not yet qualified. Get lost quickly, before I change my mind."

Theos and Tiger King felt disheartened.

Unexpectedly, in the mind of Terrachus, they didn't even qualify to work for him.

Terrachus was a capricious figure of great importance. Who knows, he might change his mind in the next second and wipe them out.

To avoid further complications, the two of them scurried away.

The attention of Terrachus fell upon Zeke.

"Do you know what I despise the most in my life? It's you, humans! Hmph, humans are despicable and deceitful, and they are utterly shameless. They don't deserve to live. Today, I will annihilate you all!"

As soon as the words were spoken, the light shield rapidly contracted, threatening to crush Zeke and his companions alive.

Just at this critical moment, a red beam of light suddenly shot from the sky.

The red light, carrying a tremendous power, struck the light shield enveloping Zeke and the others. The light shield shattered instantly, and Zeke and his companions regained their freedom.

Ahem! Ahem!

Zeke and the others coughed violently and gasped for breath heavily.

Just now, inside the light shield, they felt as if their bodies were about to be squashed flat.

They were puzzled, wondering what that red beam of light was and why it had saved them.

Terrachus was somewhat angry. “Hmph! Heavenly God, what do you mean by this? Would you really oppose me just for the sake of these insignificant individuals?"

Heavenly God said indifferently, "Terrachus, you've misunderstood. They had the audacity to impersonate me earlier, which made me quite angry. They are my enemies. How can I allow you to judge my enemies? I want to punish them myself.”
