Chapter - 3041

What?

The crowd found it difficult to believe. "I've heard that sea level fluctuations or volcanic eruptions can indeed form new islands, but this process typically takes several days, if not months or even years.”

"How could a small island possibly appear out of nowhere in just one day?"

Isaac explained, "That's a good question. Truth be told, this island has always existed. However, it was concealed by a potent ancient spell cast by an ancient supreme being, rendering it undetectable to ordinary people like us. Just recently, this powerful spell was destroyed by someone, and that's why the island has now become visible."

Everyone looked at each other, their faces filled with doubt.

An ancient supreme being? A powerful spell? What is he talking about?

Someone questioned, "What's your point in saying all this? How is it related to today's topic?"

Isaac stated, "First, I'd like to introduce myself to everyone. Truth be told, I am indeed a resident of this mysterious. island. Tens of thousands of us reside here. We were all originally from Eurasia but were either forcibly brought here or deceived into coming."

"On Theos Island, we were enslaved and subjected to the dominion of others, enduring a life even more degrading than that of livestock. No, calling it inhumane treatment would be an understatement. In the eyes of Theos Island's owner, our lives held even less value than those of animals. How harsh is our living environment, you ask? Moldy buns become a delicacy, and there are even frequent occurrences of cannibalism. On Theos Island, dozens or even hundreds of people die almost every day. To say it's a living hell on earth is no exaggeration. We thought we would spend the rest of our lives in thisvpurgatory, but then, a savior descended upon the island. This savior, risking his life and narrowly escaping death, defeated the owner of Theos Island. He rescued us from the island and brought us back to our longed-for homeland. However, during the few years of this savior's disappearance, the people of his own country have cursed him as a traitor, relentlessly hunting him down. It's truly disheartening.”

The amount of information in Isaac's words was simply overwhelming, leaving everyone unable to process it all at once.

After a moment of silence, someone asked, "Are you saying that the savior who rescued you is the former Great Marshal?"

Isaac nodded. "That's correct."

A reporter snorted and questioned, "Heh, don't you think your lie is a bit too obvious? If you're trying to defend the former Great Marshal, at least come up with a reason that's more believable. What's all this talk about Theos Island, tens of thousands of slaves, a purgatory, and a savior? Are you trying to write a novel or something? We'd sooner believe pigs can fly."

Isaac said, "I have a way to prove myself, and I swear on my own life, I will take responsibility for every word I utter."

The crowd still didn't believe him and jeered, "All right then, prove it to us."

Isaac remarked, "I was abducted thirty years ago. My home is on Dovestreet in Lusterg, Yiefmery, with the house number 405. You can verify with my family whether I suddenly disappeared thirty years ago. When I left, my daughter was only seven years old. Now, she should be thirty-seven, probably married with children of her own."

Upon finishing his sentence, Isaac was overwhelmed by a sense of melancholy and sorrow.

He felt homesick.

A reporter quickly spoke up. "We can get in touch with the residents of 405 Dovestreet in Lusterg, Yiefmery through the public security agency."

Someone expressed their disbelief, "You guys actually believe what this lunatic is saying and want to confirm it?"

Kyran said, "Given that this matter involves the former Great Marshal, we should proceed cautiously. Fortunately, I have some connections in the public security agency. I can assist you in collecting information.".

"Great! We're counting on you, Mr. Price."

Kyran pulled out his mobile phone and called his friend in the public security agency, explaining the ins and outs of the situation in detail to the other party.
