Great Marshal/

Chapter - 3082

"Sir, what do you mean? The only one worthy of having Master Sole Wolf accompany them is the Great Marshal. Are you suggesting the Great Marshal is here?"

"Oh my goodness, I just had a close encounter with the Great Marshal. My goodness! He's my idol, my faith, the goal I strive for, and my motivation!”

Zeke looked at that large-scale mourning scene, feeling a wave of emotion within him.

In times of peace, the sudden death of hundreds of civilians was a failure on his part. He had to bear the responsibility.

Although others might not see it that way, Zeke inwardly reproached himself.

Upon seeing Zeke, Warren's wife ceased her sobbing and cautiously asked, "Sir, have you come to seek justice for us?”

Zeke nodded. "That's correct."

Warren's wife fell to her knees with a thud in front of Zeke, pleading, “Sir, I beg you. You must uncover the truth and find the murderer. Don't let Warren die for no reason."

One by one, everyone else also knelt down before Zeke.

Zeke's voice resonated powerfully. "Rest. assured, everyone. No matter what the cost, I will thoroughly investigate the ins and outs of this matter and provide you with a satisfactory explanation. Now, I'm going to open the coffin for an autopsy. I ask for everyone's cooperation."

Everyone quickly nodded in agreement.

For reasons unknown, they felt a sense of justice emanating from Zeke. Subconsciously, they trusted him immensely and, thus, were willing to cooperate with him unconditionally.

Zeke opened Warren's coffin.

Warren lay quietly in the coffin, his complexion a ghastly purple. His body was stiff, and a faint negative energy lingered around him.

Zeke immediately concluded that Warren had died from having his positive energy completely drained.

Moreover, Warren hadn't been dead for long. If his positive energy was recovered in time, there was still hope for him to come back to life.

Of course, that was under the assumption that no vital organs within Warren's body had been fatally damaged.

Zeke channeled a sliver of his energy into Warren, examining the latter's internal organs.

Thankfully, his internal organs were intact and undamaged.

However, he detected a peculiar aura emanating from Warren's body.

The aura felt somewhat familiar to Zeke.

Back in the day, when that group of ancient demonic beasts escaped from Terrachus Tower, their aura was strikingly similar to the aura within Warren.

Zeke referred to it as demonic energy. It seems highly likely that these people have had their positive energy drained by the beasts! Also, Netherworld has been active around here. Could it be related to this matter? Could it be that Netherworld has conspired with the ancient beasts? If that's really the case, things could get a bit tricky.

Zeke thought of many things at that moment.

He examined several other bodies. Their manner of death was nearly identical to that of Warren.

Zeke waved his hand at the crowd and said, "Please, everyone, quiet down. I have some matters to discuss with you all.”

The crowd, who had been softly sobbing, immediately fell silent.

Zeke said, "These people can still be saved. There's still hope for them to live. Don't be disheartened just yet.”

What!

Everyone looked at Zeke with faces full of shock, finding it hard to believe what they were hearing.

How could they believe that the dead could come back to life?

Zeke said, "You don't believe me? I can prove it to you."

Having said that, Zeke channeled a strand of spiritual energy into Warren's body.

From a certain perspective, spiritual energy was essentially the purest form of positive energy.

The benefits of spiritual energy to the human body far surpass those of positive energy.

As the spiritual energy flowed into Warren, his bodily functions gradually recovered. His face regained its color, and his stiff limbs softened.

A moment later, Warren slowly opened his eyes and abruptly sat up halfway. "No, don't go. Stop right there. Don't..."

Ah!

The crowd was terrified, their screams merging into a chaotic symphony as they quickly retreated.

Their first reaction, naturally, was that the corpse had come back to life.
