Chapter - 3106

Seizing the right moment, Daniel asked Zeke, "Zeke, tell me, what do you think about Missy learning martial arts?"

Zeke responded, "I think it doesn't make a difference whether Missy practices martial arts or not."

Daniel exhaled a sigh of relief. "Good to know. Starting today, Missy won't be continuing her martial arts practice. Boys should be accustomed to modesty, while girls should be raised in comfort and affluence. A young girl should grow up in a more privileged environment. How could she endure hardships at such a tender age? What if she develops strong arms and muscular legs from her training and can't get married? What would we do then?"

Zeke said, "Dad, I can't make the decision on this matter. You have to ask Missy. In fact, it wasn't me who arranged for the martial arts training, it was Missy who insisted on it herself."

Daniel expressed his frustration, saying, "Zeke, why are you being so stubborn? Can't you see that your mom is getting upset? Let me be clear, if you keep this up and she loses her temper, even I won't be able to do anything about it."

Zeke was genuinely at a loss for words, saying, "Dad, I'm being honest here. Missy herself was adamant about learning martial arts. I didn't intentionally arrange it."

Daniel cast a suspicious glance at Zeke. “Is that SO?"

Zeke affirmed, "Of course it's true. Why would I have any reason to deceive you?"

Daniel examined Zeke's expression meticulously but couldn't discern any signs of deception.

In the end, even Daniel found himself somewhat puzzled, saying, "Well, that's strange. How could a young lady have such a keen interest in martial arts?"

The two of them returned to the living room, where Missy was still diligently practicing her military punching style.

Hannah was peeling grapes for the little girl, feeling sorry for her.

Missy wore an impatient expression. "Grandma, I'm in the middle of my training. Could you please not disturb me?"

Hannah responded, "Training is training, and eating is eating. It's possible to do both at the same time. I've put in a lot of effort to ensure you're well-fed and healthy. We can't have you going hungry and losing weight now."

Missy was speechless. "Grandma! Have you ever seen a hero chomping on food while throwing punches?"

"I don't care. You must eat all of these grapes. They're good for your health,” Hannah insisted.

Missy, feeling helpless, turned to Zeke for assistance. "Daddy, please talk some sense into Grandma."

Now, Daniel was genuinely convinced that Missy was willingly pursuing martial arts.

He shook his head and sighed. "Hannah, please stop interrupting her practice. If she enjoys it, let her continue. I have high hopes for Missy. I'm certain she will achieve great things in martial arts in the future,” he continued.

Hannah became immediately anxious. "Daniel, how can you say that? You're making it sound as if I don't care about Missy. Back then, I'd rather go hungry myself just to ensure Missy was well-fed. But now that Missy has started martial arts, just look at how much weight she's lost. I can't allow it. I've poured my heart and soul into raising this child, and I must make sure she's healthy at all costs. Please, be good and eat up."

Facepalming in exasperation, Missy was at a loss for what to do. In the end, she had no other choice but to eat the grapes that Hannah had washed for her.

A smile finally graced Hannah's face once the girl finished eating.

With pleading eyes, Missy gazed at Zeke and said, "Daddy, many of my classmates have started attending martial arts school recently. I want to join a martial arts school to learn martial arts, too. Would that be okay?"

In response to the escalating tension, the president acted swiftly, establishing numerous martial arts schools across the country overnight. He encouraged the youth to embrace martial arts, declaring it as the trend of the future.

In an instant, young people across the nation were captivated by martial arts, entering the realm of martial arts with tremendous enthusiasm.

Zeke knew that given the indulgent nature of Daniel and Hannah, it was clearly unrealistic to expect Missy to practice martial arts at home.

Therefore, enrolling her in a martial arts school was the best decision.

He happily agreed, "All right. No problem."

Unexpectedly, Hannah was the first to voice her opposition. "I disagree! I strongly disagree. Girls should be learning music, chess, literature, and painting, not participating in combat and battles. I absolutely refuse to allow Missy to practice martial arts.”

Zeke felt somewhat awkward, uncertain about how to convince Hannah.

Hannah pinched Daniel firmly. “Dan, why aren't you saying anything? Can you truly bear to see our beloved Missy endure hardship at the martial arts school? I've heard that the living conditions there are incredibly challenging, and many children end up in tears from exhaustion."

Daniel said submissively, "Well... I think it's best if we honor the child's choice in this matter, Hannah.”
