Chapter - 3130

Zeke expressed, "Have you noticed the prime minister's drastic change in behavior? It's as if he's a completely different person, and he appears to have lost all memory of the past."

Francine paused, her eyes fixed on Zeke as she replied, "Yes, that's true. But what are you trying to convey with this?"

Zeke disclosed, "The truth is, the current Prime Minister is under the influence of another entity. His actions and decisions are not his own."

Hearing this, the woman chuckled. "Are you trying to convince me of some supernatural phenomenon? I'm a believer in science, not such things. If there's nothing else, I need to make a swift exit."

"Stop right there!" a chilling voice interrupted.

Sloan's henchmen, armed with steel pipes and clubs, stormed in, forming a circle around Francine.

One of them addressed her, "Ms. Francine, it's rather impolite to assault Mr. Sloan and then leave abruptly. Mr. Sloan has extended his invitation to you, offering warm hospitality at his mansion. I suggest you cooperate willingly to avoid unnecessary complications."

Francine turned to Zeke, questioning, “Can you assist me in dealing with them?"

Zeke replied, "I could easily handle them, but I prefer not to intervene in your matters. It's best if you manage this situation on your own."

Francine glared at Zeke, saying, "You're just showing off. I doubt you can be of any help. If you can't, then please leave!"

With that, Francine got up and moved toward the door, but Sloan's men quickly blocked her path, initiating a confrontation.

Thirty of the Nightingale Squad looked to Zeke for guidance, wondering if he should step in. Zeke shook his head and advised, "Let's observe the situation for now."

Francine's combat skills had been personally honed by Zeke, and dealing with a few hooligans was well within her capabilities.

In no time, she had subdued seven or eight of them, albeit sustaining some injuries.

Francine panted heavily and kicked their leader, commanding, "Leave! Every time I encounter you, you're in for a beating."

The thugs scrambled away in fear, disappearing into the distance. They had heard rumors about Francine's martial prowess but never expected her to be this formidable.

Once they were far away, a few of them yelled, "You'll regret taking the hard route, Francine! Mr. Sloan won't let you off the hook. Just wait and see!"

With that, they departed, leaving Francine to grab her phone from the table, preparing to make a swift exit.

Zeke calmly inquired, "Where do you plan to go?"

"Anywhere but here," was the woman's response.

Hearing this, Zeke continued, “What about your revenge? Aren't you going to seek it? This isn't like you."

Francine shot Zeke a glance, remarking, "You talk as if you can help me seek revenge."

"Why wouldn't I be able to?" he questioned.

After some hesitation, Francine managed to regain her composure and took a seat. “All right, then. I need you to eliminate someone for me. If you assist me in avenging my mother, I'll agree to any terms you propose."

Zeke inquired, "Who do you want me to eliminate?"

"Fergus Whittaker, the eldest son of the Whittaker family," said Francine.

Huh?

Zeke was curious. "Why do you want to kill Fergus?"

He had initially believed that Francine's adversary was her own brother, Felix, so it surprised him to hear a different family name.

Francine explained, "Because he murdered my mother."

Zeke nodded, "Very well."

"Are you sure?"

Zeke assured her, "Absolutely."

She glanced out the window and confessed, "To be honest, Mr. Sloan, whom we just encountered, is merely a pawn under Fergus's control. He was sent by Fergus to harass me, trying to force me into marriage with him. I would rather die than marry the man who killed my mother. Now that I've crossed paths with Sloan, Fergus will undoubtedly send more people after me, possibly even involving the authorities. If you can help me resolve this problem, I'll have faith in you."
