Chapter - 3133

As Fergus withdrew from the woman beneath him, she grew increasingly jealous, intensifying her efforts to capture his attention.

However, Fergus' mind remained entirely occupied by thoughts of Francine, and her attempts to win his favor were in vain as Fergus hastily dressed himself and left the room.

Upon stepping outside, Fergus was met with a startling sight.

His inspection police officers were in a pitiful state, bearing injuries, dirt-covered faces, and disarrayed clothing. Anxiously, Fergus inquired, "What happened? Who attacked you? Is this related to Francine?"

The inspection police officer explained, "It was a strange man accompanying Ms. Francine who attacked us. We are relatively unharmed, but our chief and two others have stayed behind..."

D*mn it!

Fergus seethed with anger, cursing, "I don't care about your chief. Tell me about that stranger and his relationship with Francine. Are they close? I've explicitly instructed you all to keep an eye on her. How could another man appear by her side? I'm warning you, if that man lays a hand on Francine, I will hold each of you accountable with your lives!"

The inspection police officer trembled, too frightened to utter a word.

Fergus urged, "Speak up! Answer me!"

The inspection police officer proceeded to provide a detailed account of the situation.

When he heard the full story, Fergus' initial fury subsided somewhat. "Hmph, you better be telling the truth. This is the first time that man has appeared with Francine. If I discover they have a deeper connection, you will pay dearly! Now, accompany me to confront the other party."

The officer hesitated and suggested, "Mr. Fergus, perhaps we should plan this carefully. It might be wise to bring along some experts.

That man is remarkably powerful. Our team was overpowered without even getting close to him."

Fergus took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down. "Oh? How strong is this opponent?"

The inspection police officer replied, "We were unable to approach him, as a potent unseen force knocked us to the ground. We suspect... he may be even more formidable than the Martial Arts Association's chairman.”

A look of disdain crossed Fergus' face as he scoffed, "The so-called Martial Arts Association chairman is a joke in my eyes. True strength often lies within ordinary people. I have numerous formidable individuals under my command; I am not afraid of any opposition! Come, everyone!"

Led by Fergus, the group proceeded boldly toward the Royal Flush Bar.

Inside the bar, Francine's heart raced uncontrollably. She made repeated attempts. to persuade Zeke to flee with her, but he adamantly refused to leave.

Francine felt utterly helpless, her pleas continuing. "You may not fully comprehend the might of the Whittaker family. If they unleash their wrath, even the prime minister would cower. You alone can't stand against them."

Zeke responded, "Don't worry. Since I've promised to help you seek vengeance, I will honor that promise."

"I no longer need you to seek revenge on my behalf. Can't you understand that?" Francine implored.

Zeke shook his head, saying, "No, it's not possible."

"Fine. You exude such confidence and assurance. Do you have any powerful connections? Can you tell me who's supporting you?" asked Francine.

"I rely solely on myself," was the man's response.

This guy... It seems like I've bumped into a blockhead today.

Francine, on the brink of tears, found herself unable to weep. She regretted her actions deeply. If she had known it would come to this, she would never have provoked this man, no matter the circumstances.

Zeke inquired, "By the way, didn't you mention that the Great Marshal is your boyfriend? Why don't you give him a call? Perhaps he could offer assistance. I believe our Great Marshal can always surpass any opponent, right?"

"That's none of your concern,” retorted Francine.
