Chapter - 3148

The chilling gaze from those deep white eyes sent shivers down the spine, making one's scalp tingle with unease.

Maximus immediately knelt down, loudly proclaiming, "I, Maximus Whittaker, pay respects to the venerable Mr. Black Reaper."

The Prime Minister glanced around warily and inquired, "Where is this place? Is it safe?"

Maximus reassured him, saying, “Fear not, Master. We are over international waters here; it's very safe. No one will disturb us.”

"That's good." The Prime Minister nodded. "Maximus, why have you summoned me?"

Maximus pleaded urgently, "Master, I implore you to save me. I've encountered severe difficulties, and only you have the power to help me resolve them."

To his dismay, the Prime Minister shook his head, "I'm truly sorry, but I was ambushed by the Dragon Master a few days ago, and I'm gravely wounded. I'm struggling to protect. myself right now, so I cannot assist you. You'll need to seek help elsewhere."

"Master, please wait," Maximus urged desperately. "If you don't aid me, the Whittaker family will be left without an heir."

The Prime Minister grew somewhat impatient. "As I've stated, I cannot save myself at this moment, let alone provide assistance to you..."

Maximus continued to beseech, "Honorable Master, I only require your aid in dealing with a minor character. It would be effortless for you..."

"Hehe. Would you have summoned me if the other party were insignificant?" the Prime Minister chuckled.

Maximus fell silent, and the Prime Minister chuckled coldly once more, preparing to leave.

In the end, Maximus clenched his teeth and declared, "Prime Minister, if you promise to help me, I will gift you my family's ancestral tomb."

"Really?"

The Prime Minister finally displayed a glimmer of interest upon hearing Maximus' offer.

The Whittaker family's ancestral tomb was a geomantic paradise. If Black Reaper were to transform it, it could become a sacred land for Netherworld, capable of expanding Netherworld's influence.

However, Maximus had always been unwilling to relinquish control of the geomantic paradise to others.

For Black Reaper, forcibly seizing the ancestral tomb from Maximus was an option, but it would result in the land becoming a place of ominous energy, rendering it useless to Netherworld.

The Whittaker family had to willingly offer up the treasure for it to retain its power.

Maximus confirmed, “Certainly."

The Prime Minister chuckled, "Very well. I can give it a try. Tell me, what do you need me to do?"

In haste, Maximus provided the Prime Minister with a detailed account of his son Fergus' kidnapping.

After considering the situation, the Prime Minister remarked, "The fact that the assailant incapacitated Druno and Drados without physical contact suggests the use of energy. They are at least masters of the Ultimate Class, but it's more likely they belong to a more advanced class."

He continued, "If I were at my full strength, dealing with them would be a simple matter. But my current condition is a consequence of. the Dragon Master's surprise attack... Nonetheless, let us meet with this individual first. If all else fails, I will have to call upon my old friend, White Reaper, for assistance."

Maximus was overjoyed and expressed his gratitude. "Thank you, Master, for your benevolence. I will take you to meet the individual right away."

"Let's go."

Maximus immediately set sail back to the shore.

After the Prime Minister disembarked, his reappearance left Maximus' men utterly bewildered. What's going on? The Prime Minister has been deceased for a while, but how is he alive and mobile? He can even walk and run... This is truly unbelievable.

Guided by Maximus, the Prime Minister boarded a car.

Maximus promptly ordered, “Start the car; we're heading to the Royal Flush Bar.”

Suddenly, the Prime Minister intervened, saying, "Maximus, you should drive.”

"Huh?" Maximus asked curiously, "But why?"

The Prime Minister glanced at the driver and then gently exhaled a breath toward him.

The driver's eyes immediately became cloudy, his body going limp as he slowly slid out of the car.

Subsequently, the Prime Minister's body emitted a surge of negative energy, corroding the vital energy of everyone present.

Before long, Maximus' subordinates were consumed and perished due to the negative energy.
