Great Marshal/

Chapter - 3175

Chapter - 3175

Sure enough, the Great Marshal lives up to his name!

At that moment, utter despair pervaded Gael and Cannon.

How stupid!

Seeing the duo unrepentant and daring to sneak an attack on them, Sole Wolf was furious. His fists rained down on their faces relentlessly.

In the blink of an eye, their faces were swollen beyond recognition. And in the end, they were beaten to within an inch of their lives.

Zeke still wanted to get information out of them, so he stopped the man. "That's enough, Sole Wolf."

Sole Wolf was incredibly vexed. “D*mn it! I never expected these two b*stards to be such ingrates. If I had known, I would have never promoted them back then! It's my fault. This is all on me."

"For the crime of treason, the punishment should be the execution of the entire family! However, I can offer you an opportunity now, a chance to atone for your mistakes. I can be lenient with you. What do you think?" Zeke stated.

The two men pleaded earnestly, "We'll do anything you ask as long as you don't harm our families, Great Marshal! Our family is innocent, and we are willing to atone for our mistakes with our lives!"

To them right then, their own lives no longer held any significance. What mattered most was to continue their lineage, ensuring that their family line did not end with them.

"Apart from Mr. Advisor and Mr. Secretary, who else has been won over by Netherworld?” Zeke asked.

Suddenly, Gael and Cannon fell silent.

That was a colossal secret of the Netherworld. If they were to leak it, Netherworld would absolutely not spare them and their families.

They were well aware of Netherworld's brutality and doubted that their family would stand a chance of survival if Netherworld were to target them.

They were then in a dilemma.

Naturally, Zeke could tell the concern they harbored.

He vowed, "If you cooperate with us, we will provide protection for your families. We won't allow them to be harmed by Netherworld. Of course, it is on the condition that they are innocent and did not collude with you both."

Gael hastily asserted, "I assure you, Great Marshal, that my actions are solely mine and have nothing to do with my family."

"I swear that I have never involved my family in this matter, let alone allowed them to have any contact with Netherworld. They are still unaware that I am in collusion with Netherworld," Cannon affirmed.

"I'll never let a single villain go unpunished, but rest assured that neither will I harm a single innocent person," Zeke declared.

With that promise, Gael and Cannon rested. much easier.

They took out a piece of paper and listed the names of those they knew had been swayed over by Netherworld.

Upon scanning through it, Zeke was startled to discover that many of them were members of the Cabinet.

Looking at those familiar names, he sighed soundlessly.

Oh well! They withstood the artillery of war but fell prey to the disguised temptation of the new era.

Zeke carefully put the list away, then. instructed Sole Wolf, "Sole Wolf, escort them both to Cygnus Room."

Sole Wolf nodded.

After all, the two men might still be of some value if kept alive.

However, Gael and Cannon were well aware of the horrors of Cygnus Room and would rather die than go there.

They both wanted to end their own lives.

However, Sole Wolf knocked them out with a single strike.

"How could I not know your schemes when I personally trained you, you scoundrels?"

He hoisted them onto his shoulders before striding forward swiftly. In the blink of an eye, he vanished without a trace.

Zeke's phone suddenly rang.

He glanced at it, only to see that it was a call from the president.

Swiping the answer button, he greeted ahead of the man, "How have you been lately, Mr. President?"

"I'm fine. Zeke, there's something in which I'd like to ask for your opinion," the president started.

"Mr. President, I think I can guess what this is about and why you called me," Zeke said.

"Oh, is that so? Then, why don't you tell me the purpose of my call to you?” the president teased.

"If I'm not mistaken, it should be about the selection of the new Prime Minister, right?" Zeke replied.

The president nodded. "That's correct. How did you guess?"

"After the death of the former Prime Minister, I've been keeping a close eye on this matter. Have the oversight advisor and state secretary recommended Felix as the new Prime Minister, Mr. President?" Zeke queried.
