Chapter - 3184

The convoy was only two hundred meters away from the figure. Yet, the person remained standing there like a statue, showing no signs of dodging.

The distance was too great. Coupled with the sand swirling in the sky, it obscured one's vision, making it impossible to see the other person's appearance clearly.

But the outline bore some resemblance to Zeke.

Richard cackled wickedly. “Hmph! This b*stard is here to court death! Drive right up and kill him. I'll take responsibility for all the consequences."

"Understood!" the person on the other end of the phone replied.

Following that, the convoy's speed increased sharply.

Francine struggled up and cast her gaze at the figure.

Among them all, she was most familiar with Zeke.

She was almost certain that the person there was undoubtedly him.

They were only a hundred meters apart, yet the man still showed no signs of backing down.

She was so anxious that she broke out in a cold sweat.

What on earth is he trying to do? Why isn't he dodging? Indeed, he is beyond powerful. But no matter how capable he is, can he withstand a speeding car? Move! Quick, move out of the way!

Francine fervently prayed deep within.

Yuvan also clenched his fists tightly. He stared intently at Zeke, hoping that the latter would step aside.

But the distance between them was only fifty meters then, yet the man remained stationary.

By then, they could see each person's face clearly, and it was indeed Zeke without a doubt.

Yuvan raised his voice and yelled, "Move aside, Zeke! Quick, get out of the way!"

However, his voice was drowned out by the roar of the engines.

Both Francine and Yuvan closed their eyes in despair.

They realized that Zeke might have be trapped in place that he wasn't dodging.

Contrarily, Richard became increasingly excited. It was as though he had been pumped with adrenaline.

"Haha, good, good! Great! Perfect, in fact! If you stand still and don't move, Zeke, I'll salute you as a real man! Rest assured that I'll give you a grand funeral if you die. Haha, speed up!"

The convoy accelerated again, reaching a speed of a hundred and fifty.

Zeke stood rooted to the ground calmly. His eyes were fixed on the convoy, his gaze brimming with murder.

The distance between them closed rapidly, from forty meters to thirty, then twenty.

It was only when the distance between the two was reduced to ten meters that Zeke finally shook his body slightly. He released his energy, which materialized into a transparent energy wall five meters before him.

The sturdiness of an energy wall surpassed even that of a pure steel door forged from millennium-old black iron.

As soon as the speeding van collided with it, it instantly crumpled into a ball. A massive explosion ensued.

Failing to brake in time, the vehicle behind it crashed into it.

Thunderous booms of explosions rang out incessantly, and flames shot into the sky.

In just a matter of three seconds, about ten vans had collided with each other.

The vans were instantly totaled, and the people inside burnt to a crisp, swiftly engulfed by the raging fire, leaving no chance of survival.

Richard's Jetta braked just in time, narrowly avoiding a collision.

Nonetheless, they were still caught in the aftermath of the explosion. The car flipped on its side.

The noise at the scene only subsided after a long while.

However, the sounds of the explosion continued echoing in Richard's and others' minds, leaving them dumbfounded.

Oh God, what on earth just happened? What exactly did the van hit to end up a pile of scrap metal? Was it the doing of that Zeke fellow? How did he manage to do it? If that's really the case, wouldn't he be a god?

Those questions kept lingering in Richard's mind, playing over and over again.

The few uninjured drivers at the back quickly rushed over and rescued Richard from the vehicle.

Richard only suffered minor injuries, but he looked rather wretched.

With his heart still pounding in fear, he looked in the direction where the van exploded, trembling as he asked, "Can anyone tell me... what just happened?"

One of his subordinates immediately reported, "I believe the man must have set up some concealed stingers or the like on the ground, and the van stopped because it hit them."

"You're right! Otherwise, there's no way to explain all of this."

They had never encountered "energy," nor were they aware that such a thing existed.

In their understanding, only "concealed. stingers" could explain everything that happened.
