Chapter - 3195

Even if Kush Clan were to discover something, they'd never reveal it to me. Hence, Theos could only speculate and say, "This place must have once belonged to the humans. The style of this ancient archaeological site also suggests it was built by ancient humans. Back in the day, the most famous among the humans who stood guard here was undoubtedly the Enlightened Sage. If I'm not mistaken, the Enlightened Sage probably owned this ancient archaeological site."

With just a single phrase, he managed to infuriate Theodore. The sarcasm in his words was unmistakable as he mocked Kush Clan for acting like a dog in the manger and usurping human territory.

"This place has belonged to Kush Clan since ancient times. Alas, the humans later seized it. All we did was reclaim our ancestors' territory, returning it to its original owner. If you continue throwing false accusations at us, don't blame us for not cooperating," came Theodore's reply.

Theos laughed loudly. "I was only kidding. Don't take it seriously. Let's focus on the task at hand."

With a cold snort, Theodore worked together with Theos to set up a formation.

There was no denying that Kush Clan's formation was intricate and refined. Even the proud Theos could not help but admire it. Giving a thumbs up, he said, “Kush Clan's wisdom is hundreds, even thousands, of times greater than that of the humans. Such a brilliant formation is something the humans could never conceive."

In an arrogant tone, Theodore responded, "Naturally. We're a superior race, far beyond comparison to the foolish humans. All right. That's enough chatter. Hurry up and lure the ancient demonic beasts in. I need to head back to guard my people."

The ancient demonic beasts lacked intelligence and would indiscriminately pounce on anyone and anything. As the indigenous inhabitants of that place, Kush Clan would no doubt get attacked if it encountered the ancient demonic beasts.

If one of the beasts were to lose its way and accidentally wander into the clan's territory, it would spell a catastrophe and lead to the clan's extinction. Therefore, it was imperative for Theodore to guard Kush Clan at all times.

Theos, however, said, "This isn't right. The ancient archaeological site is now sealed, and the energy field has been shielded. Those ancient demonic beasts should have charged in by now, but why are they still hesitating at the entrance, not daring to move forward?"

"I'm not sure about that. You'll have to figure it out yourself," Theodore replied. After saying that, he turned and left.

"Tiger King, what do you think is the reason for this?" asked Theos, seeking Tiger King's opinion.

Tiger King replied, “Lure them in with blood. The ancient demonic beasts' thirst for blood is far more intense than you could ever imagine."

Excellent! Theos nodded and cut his finger immediately, releasing a drop of fresh blood. He was a God, after all. The blood of the Gods was the purest and was too great of a temptation to the ancient demonic beasts.

Upon catching the scent of fresh blood, the ancient demonic beasts immediately descended into a frenzy and rushed in without hesitation.

Although there were only a little over a thousand ancient demonic beasts, they radiated the grandeur of a vast and mighty army.

Suddenly, a din echoed throughout the place like thunder. The ground shook violently and even split open with large cracks. Dust flew into the sky, obscuring part of it. It looked like the end of the world.

Theos laughed. It's as though I'm witnessing the scene of humans' destruction!

Meanwhile, Zeke and his companions, who were five hundred kilometers away, had already entered Mount Kush.

Although they were still only on the outskirts, the area was already blanketed in white snow with no fresh earth in sight.

The gales howled, rain and snow pelted down relentlessly, and the air was frigid. Even the animals could not adapt to the temperature there and chose to hide away.

The average person would not be able to survive more than five hours under such harsh conditions, but those on Zeke's team were no ordinary individuals. Hence, the impact of the environment on them could only be described as minimal.

Zeke looked around, and all he could see was white. There was no other color in sight. He let out a sigh and asked, "Does anyone of you know where's the Secret Realm of Mount Kush?"
