Chapter - 3249

Despite Zeke harboring enmity towards the Kush Clan, he had to admit that few people still treated him with respect and loyalty.

"Alright then. Let's go up together."

An ordinary person would find it impossible to move an inch on this iceberg.

However, they were all top-stage martial artists, each with their personal climbing skills to assist in mountaineering.

For instance, Zeke's energy and the Kush Clan's powerful mental energy.

Before long, they had reached the top of the mountain.

The cry for help was just around the corner.

"Look! There's someone under the ice!" Tanner was the first to notice the unusual situation.

Everyone quickly looked down at the icy surface beneath their feet.

Sure enough, there were several people frozen in the glacier beneath their feet.

These individuals were frozen solid and immobilized by the ice. Only the warm breath huffing from their mouths managed to melt some ice around their lips, allowing them to make a sound.

They were unmistakably Sole Wolf, Killer Wolf, Quinlan, and Aged Ginseng.

Upon seeing Zeke, a flash of excitement and exhilaration sparkled in their eyes.

"Save us, bro..."

"I... I'm about to freeze to death."

"Hurry... Dig us out. I can't hold on much longer."

Bro?

Edurne looked at Zeke with suspicion. "Did my ears deceive me just now? Did that person call you 'bro'?"

Zeke nodded. "Indeed, they are my friends."

Your friends?

Edurne and the others were greatly shocked. "The Gods are indeed extraordinary. I can't believe so many of them have entered the ancient archaeological site."

Tanner remarked, "Quinlan's friends must certainly be important. How could they possibly not have a few decent magical objects on them? They must've entered with the help of a magical object."

"Let's first help Quinlan rescue his friends," said Edurne.

With that, she and the others were about to take action.

However, Zeke stopped them. "Wait."

What's wrong?

Bewildered, Edurne looked at Zeke.

"Can your Everflame Lamp melt ice?" he asked.

Edurne replied, "Of course."

Zeke casually chiseled a piece of ice from the ground and handed it to her. "Here. Melt it."

Edurne was baffled. "Why?"

"Just do as I've told you," said Zeke.

“Very well.” Edurne obediently accepted it and began to melt it with the Everflame Lamp.

Strangely, the piece of ice did not turn into water after melting but vanished into thin air.

Zeke asked, "Have you all noticed anything unusual?"

Edurne shook her head. "No. What's unusual?"

Zeke said, "After the ice melts, it should turn into water, but this is not the case."

"Perhaps the flame of this Everflame Lamp is so strong that it directly turned the ice into steam," Edurne reasoned.

"Did you guys see any steam just now?" asked Zeke.

His question baffled Edurne. "What exactly are you trying to say?"

Zeke looked around and said, "These people can't be saved. Let's get out of here quickly."

With that, he headed straight for the foot of the mountain.

Sole Wolf and the others continued to cry for help unhurriedly. However, Zeke paid them no attention at all.

Edurne and the others looked at each other in bewilderment.

"What should we do?"

"What else can we do? Of course, we have to go down the mountain."

"But they are Quinlan's friends..."

"Nonsense! Even Quinlan doesn't care about their fate, so why should we bother ourselves?"

"Alright. Let's head down the mountain too."

"I've long heard about the intense infighting within the Gods' royal family, but I never imagined it would be this severe, with brothers even killing each other."

The group quickly descended the mountain.

The cries for help from Lone Wolf and the others continued unabated.

The storm was intensifying, the temperature was dropping, and the conditions there were becoming increasingly harsh.

The warmth provided by the Everflame Lamp was no longer enough to shield them from this storm.

If it were an ordinary person, they would have frozen to death many times over by now.
