Chapter - 3254

Zeke could sense a potent killing intent pressing in on him from all directions.

Warriors emitted this killing intent, seeking to claim his life.

When Zeke was only five meters away from the entrance of the ancient archaeological site, he could no longer bear it.

Not only was he unable to withstand the repulsive force, but his consciousness was also on the verge of collapse, eroded by the death aura.

Fortunately, at the last moment, the mysterious energy within him activated, helping him resist the repulsive force.

However, while the mysterious energy could resist the repulsive force, it couldn't protect him from the corrosive force.

Zeke gritted his teeth, enduring the corrosive force while struggling to move forward.

However, he only managed to take one step forward. When he was still four meters away from the entrance, his consciousness finally collapsed, and a powerful repulsive force flung him out.

Edurne's group sighed, disappointment evident on their faces.

In the illusion, Zeke managed to persevere all the way to the last meter before the entrance, all on his own.

At that distance, they lent a helping hand to Zeke, barely managing to enter the ancient archaeological site.

Yet, in reality, Zeke could only get as close as four meters to the entrance of the archaeological site. This indicated that the repulsive force in reality was much stronger than that in the illusion.

At that distance, even if they gave it their all to help, it would essentially be useless.

They simply couldn't gain access to the ancient archaeological site.

Edurne approached Zeke, expressing her concern. "Quinlan, are you alright?"

Zeke shook his head. "I'm fine."

He rose to his feet, gazing at the entrance of the archaeological site and narrowing his eyes as he studied it closely.

The black fog was dense, obscuring his view of whatever was at the entrance.

"What are you looking at?" inquired Edurne.

Zeke said, "The moment I was sent flying, I saw the leg of a death spirit emerge from the ancient archaeological site."

Edurne asked in confusion, "What is a death spirit?"

"A creature that neither lives nor dies. It's extremely rare, and it may not exist within the Kush Clan."

"What kind of creature is that? A true Emperor Class being?"

Zeke once again headed toward the entrance of the archaeological site.

Edurne quickly exclaimed, "Quinlan, where are you going? You're not thinking of trying again, are you?"

"Why not?" retorted Zeke.

"I advise you to give up. In the illusion, you managed to get within a meter of the entrance with your own strength. It was only with our assistance that you barely managed to enter the site. However, in reality, you can only make it to a position four meters from the entrance on your own. No matter how much we try to help you, it's useless. It's impossible for you to get in."

"I can't accept this outcome." With that, he resolutely stepped forward, heading toward the entrance.

In fact, Zeke wanted to take a look to see if the thing at the entrance was really the leg of the death spirit.

If his guess was correct, even if he couldn't enter the ancient archaeological site, there might still be a chance of survival for him.

Watching Zeke steadily approach the entrance, Edurne couldn't help but sigh repeatedly, "This guy is pretty good at everything, but he just lacks self-awareness. He's just storming into the ruins. There's not doubt it's a suicide mission."

Tanner said, "Edurne, I knew there was something off about this guy from the start. We've done all we could for him. Even if he really does die, we shouldn't blame ourselves."

Edurne nodded. "Let's hope this fool has some dumb luck. After all, there's nothing we can do now."

Zeke once again braved the powerful repulsive and corrosive forces, reaching a spot about four meters from the entrance.

Despite the severe corrosion of his consciousness and a splitting headache, he still strained to keep his eyes wide open, observing the entrance.

Sure enough, Zeke saw a leg entwined with death aura.

Indeed, it was the leg of a death spirit.

A spark of hope ignited in Zeke's heart when he saw that.

Whether he could survive or not entirely depended on that leg.
