Chapter - 3309

A sense of doubt arose in White Reaper's heart. He hadn't expected Zeke to be connected with that group of people. Is Zeke's rapid advancement in strength a result of his being nurtured by an ancient martial house? The likelihood of this possibility is extremely high. There's no time to ponder these matters now. The most pressing task at hand is to lead these people into the Nine Abyssal Demonic Formation.

He was already eager to transform those people.

Once they had successfully transitioned, White Reaper would gain an additional core strength within his ranks.

Their combat experience was not particularly extensive, so their actual fighting strength was not as formidable as their high class suggested.

However, if they were to transform into Netherworldian, any battle experience they had would lose all its significance because when the time came, they would fight with all their might, unleashing their full strength.

Even if it meant launching an attack that could potentially cause fatal harm to themselves, they would still fully unleash their most potent destructive power.

"It's not far ahead!" After walking for a good three to four hours, White Reaper finally pointed at a mountain in the distance and spoke.

Octantis asked, "Do you know what mountain this is?"

White Reaper said, "It seems to be called Mount Phoenix. I'm not sure about the specifics. We, tomb robbers, have our own names for the nearby mountains. This mountain is known as Mount Faraway within our circle, indicating its location..."

Mount Phoenix! It's exactly as Vela had said. A wave of emotion stirred within the party members once again.

They had come to believe wholeheartedly in what White Reaper had said.

Mount Phoenix was not a single mountain but a collection of several peaks. The tallest among them pierced through the clouds, standing majestically and spectacularly.

The speed of White Reaper's movement gradually slowed down. "Well... if you continue along the foot of this mountain for a while, you will be able to find the Demon Queen. Perhaps it's best if I stay here to back you up. This journey is truly dangerous. It's not advisable to go without someone staying behind as support."

Octantis said coldly, "What's the matter? You still don't trust us even at this point? To tell you the truth, I can single-handedly subdue the Demon King even when he was at his prime, let alone now, with so many of us against the severely wounded Demon Queen."

White Reaper took a deep breath, saying, "It's not that I don't trust you. It's just that I feel-"

"Enough with the nonsense." Eridanus seized White Reaper and marched forward. "You have no way out now. Rest assured. We will definitely ensure your safety. It's about time you witness the strength of true elites."

White Reaper was "forced" to follow them onward.

As he walked, he grumbled, "If I had known it would be like this, I would have preferred not to be saved by you all. If you hadn't saved me, I could have died swiftly and painlessly. Now, I might be tortured to death by the Demon Queen... I'd rather die than face the Demon Queen again."

The further he ventured forward, the more "fearful" White Reaper appeared.

As they neared their destination, White Reaper's legs were shaking like a sieve.

White Reaper pointed toward a nondescript mound in front of them and said, "The Demon Queen lies within that grave."

The group of people observed carefully and were startled to discover that it was nothing more than an utterly ordinary mound of a grave. It was probably only about two meters high, covered in withered grass, indistinguishable from any other common grave mound.

The tombstone on the grave mound had been destroyed. It seemed as if the destruction of the tombstone had unleashed the Demon Queen.

White Reaper's teeth chattered. "Can I wait for you here? Just in case there's some sort of danger or accident-"

Octantis remained silent, simply pulling White Reaper along as they moved forward.

The others also followed suit one after another.

Upon approaching within a meter of the grave mound, Octantis spoke indifferently. "Demon Queen, I know you're here. Show yourself immediately."

However, there was no response received.

Octantis called out a few more times but still received no response.

White Reaper cautiously said, "I only saw the Demon Queen inside the grave mound. Could it be that the Demon Queen is hiding within the grave mound?"

Octantis moved closer once again.
