Chapter - 3310

This time, even Vela felt somewhat nervous. Almost instinctively, she reached out and grabbed Octantis. "Octantis, be careful. I have a strange feeling about this place."

Octantis reassured her, "The place where the Demon Queen was sealed is bound to be strange. Don't worry. I know what I'm doing."

Octantis continued to move forward and soon found himself standing on top of a grave.

"Demon Queen, I am standing above you now. You better show yourself-"

Before he could finish his sentence, there was a sudden thunderous boom. Out of the clear sky, a bolt of lightning struck directly onto the tombstone.

Fortunately, Octantis managed to dodge in time, narrowly avoiding the lightning.

The lightning split the grave mound directly in half.

The grave mound was eerily empty, with no coffin in sight. All that emerged was a puff of white mist that instantly shrouded the sky and blocked out the sun.

Octantis and the others could no longer see anything around them.

A gust of wild wind swept through, howling as it went. The surrounding temperature also dropped significantly in an instant.

Even in midair, large flakes of snow drifted down. The temperature had turned chillingly cold.

This temperature was somewhat unbearable even for ancient martial arts warriors like them.

"Be careful. Everyone, be careful," Octantis reminded his teammates. "Everyone, gather up immediately. Let's hold hands! It's likely that the Demon Queen is about to appear."

"I'm here, Octantis. I'm here!" Vela's voice sounded.

The whole place was shrouded in white mist, reducing visibility. They could only rely on sounds to determine each other's location.

Quickly, the group found each other by following the sound of their voices. They held hands tightly to prevent getting lost again.

Everyone was on high alert, yet there was no sign of danger, let alone the Demon Queen.

They wondered, What's going on? Why hasn't the Demon Queen shown herself yet?

Suddenly, Eridanus said, "That's right. We're still missing one person."

Everyone exchanged glances.

After a thorough count, one of them said, "No one is missing."

Eridanus asked, "Where's the guy we just rescued? Why isn't he here?"

Octantis said, "Could it be that he was struck dead by the lightning earlier? I think I heard him scream in agony just now."

Eridanus said, "That's impossible. I had been watching that guy the whole time. When the lightning struck, he darted past me like a rat and escaped."

Listening to that sent a chill through the hearts of everyone present. If he has indeed escaped, this place is very likely a trap. He set a trap for us.

Octantis simply couldn't accept that outcome.

He was the one who led the team here. If it was a trap, as the team leader, he had to take primary responsibility.

The haughty Octantis was unwilling to admit his own mistakes.

The howling of the wild wind grew louder and louder, resembling the roaring of a devil.

The blizzard fell like hail, continuously striking everyone, causing a raw sting.

Octantis ordered, "Listen well, everyone. We must strive together to break free. Never let go of each other's hands, even in the face of death! As long as we stand together, we will surely make it out alive!"

"All right!" Everyone agreed.

Everyone clenched their fists, braving the storm and advancing step by step.

Every step they took was extraordinarily difficult, as if they were walking through hardened cement.

After half a day of moving, the group was utterly exhausted, barely able to continue.

Eridanus said, "Let's... let's hurry and get out of here."

"Quick, look! What is that?" Vela exclaimed in response to Eridanus.

Everyone quickly turned their gaze toward Vela, only to see her looking behind her with a terrified expression.

Everyone followed Vela's gaze, and their hearts sank considerably. A sense of despair washed over them.

Just less than a meter behind them, a grave mound stood starkly.

That was none other than the so-called Demon Queen's mound.

What did that imply?

That indicated that despite their half-day of strenuous efforts, they hadn't made any progress at all.

They were trapped in that godforsaken place.

"Damn it. What on earth is going on?" One of the team members broke down. "What are we actually experiencing?"

Although panic was surging within Octantis, he managed to maintain a calm facade, saying, "If I'm not mistaken, it seems that we are trapped within a formation."
