Chapter - 3324

On those tombstones, intricate and mysterious symbols were etched, along with some extremely ancient text.

"Drakenthralls, King of Drakenthralls... Divine Sword Sect, Sunblade..." Zeke murmured.

There were more unknown names of people.

Searching through the knowledge in his mind, Zeke quickly came to a conclusion.

"Could this be the legendary Degenerate Cemetery?" He was taken aback, turning to the man in the black robe. "Impossible, this must be an illusion, right?"

The man placed his hands behind his back, giving a slight nod. "Smart. This is an illusion, and yet not an illusion. It is the technique of ancient martial arts. Once mastered, it renders one invincible in the world. It allows you to catch glimpses of places that truly existed in the past."

Zeke didn't want to listen to the other party's boasting, so he asked directly. "What exactly do you want to do? You can just say it outright."

Upon hearing that, the man's gaze flickered for a moment, as if in contemplation.

Not long after, he finally spoke. "This Celestial Cemetery holds the remains of many supreme beings. You are fortunate to have been chosen. After your demise, would you agree to be laid to rest here?"

"What?" Zeke frowned. "What capability do I have to be buried here? Stop using your deceiving tricks."

"Hehe, this place truly exists. You just haven't seen enough. Rest assured, I have no intention of killing you," he said. "After your demise, I will take it upon myself to collect your soul and any fragment of consciousness. Depending on what you leave behind, I will then lay them to rest here."

The man gave a faint smile. "Buried here, there is hope for resurrection. Once I have made my breakthrough, I will be able to revive the spirits in the graveyard... Resurrect them!"

Zeke's pupils constricted as he subtly directed a surge of power toward the man, testing the man's strength.

The other party didn't pay any attention, allowing Zeke to probe.

Quickly, Zeke's face turned slightly cold. The strength of the man was something he couldn't see through. He didn't know what it truly was.

Of course, there was also the possibility that Zeke was in some sort of illusion. However, even so, it was quite terrifying.

To utter such arrogant words, coupled with the profound strength that even Zeke himself couldn't fully comprehend, was truly terrifying to the extreme.

A sense of unease pervaded Zeke's heart as he thought about how the man wanted to collect his body and bury him.

He didn't say a word.

Inside the cave, silence prevailed for nearly five minutes.

The man seemed to have no more patience to of his wait for Zeke's response. With a sweep large sleeve, strands of dark power began to weave together before him.

Bang!

The air quivered.

In mid-air, a golden page materialized.

The text above detailed a mysterious pact.

The power between heaven and earth was continuously trembling.

The contract stated that by choosing to be buried there after death, one could exchange that act for a glimmer of hope for resurrection.

"I refuse!" Zeke simply didn't believe something that good was possible without a caveat.

"Are you seeking death? Do you think those people don't understand? In the end, didn't they agree? Today, I came to you as a favor. Even if you disagree, it's fine. I never intended to make a pact with you in the first place. My original intention was to consume you! Drop dead!" The man raised his hand, and within his palm, a profound sphere of darkness emerged!

The man launched a palm strike!

The power of darkness surged forth, unstoppable.

Unexpectedly, Zeke was standing still, a playful smile on his face as he crossed his arms over his chest, making no move at all.

After that attack reached its target, it simply vanished into thin air.

"Have you finished your performance?" Zeke said with a laugh.

The man's breath hitched, his expression subtly shifting. "It's just that I didn't want to kill you!"

"Still being stubborn. What are you pretending for?" With a cold shout, Zeke suddenly held a black flag in his hand. He casually tossed it on the ground and crushed it under his foot.

Finally, the man's expression drastically changed.

The scenery around them began to return to normal, gradually leading them back into the cave.

It turned out that all of that was an illusion created by the illusionary formation!

Additionally, the flag was a formation flag.

"You're truly formidable, able to discern the core of my formation." The man's expression darkened slightly as he coldly stated, "Given this, I will not contend with you any longer."
