Chapter - 3333

A couple of hours later, they finally managed to keep pace with Zeke.

He trailed cautiously, keeping a safe distance. Thanks to the compass, he knew Zeke's location and didn't believe that Zeke would detect his presence.

However, what he hadn't anticipated was that he had already fallen into the trap.

A shadowy figure appeared silently in the place he had passed.

"Indeed, that compass was no good!" The shadowy figure was none other than Zeke.

At that moment, Zeke's eyes were filled with indifference, smirking.

He had always been uneasy about that compass, so he crafted a controllable scarecrow, carrying the compass as it led the way, with him following behind.

Unexpectedly, he hadn't walked for long before he noticed he was not alone. Thus, he quietly hid himself and discovered traces of someone from Octantis' group.

To speak of controlling that scarecrow, it was actually quite a fortuitous coincidence.

The young lad who had previously committed robbery, apart from being fond of illusionary formations, also enjoyed tinkering with all sorts of odd and peculiar trinkets.

The scarecrow that could be controlled remotely was indeed one of his magical objects.

Initially, what was thought to be trivial and unimportant surprisingly turned out to be of great use.

Should I manipulate the scarecrow to search for that guy whom I almost stripped down to his underwear? With a mischievous smile, Zeke had an idea in his mind.

Thus, he quickly manipulated the scarecrow to head toward the location where he had previously trapped that guy.

An hour later, the scarecrow had reached that location.

Zeke, with "good intentions," had manipulated the scarecrow to place the compass in that location, waiting for that fellow to pick it up.

At that moment, amidst the desolate mountains and wild forests, a middle-aged man with disheveled hair and a dirty face finally found a flag. He laughed heartily, his laughter echoing under the open sky.

"Heaven hasn't forsaken me, Anvindr. You d*mned rascal, just you wait. I will surely seek my revenge on you for daring to rob me!” After he had crushed the flag, he finally managed to escape his predicament.

No sooner had he escaped his predicament than he saw a compass before him, exuding an extraordinary aura.

"Is this a magical object?" Anvindr's breath. hitched, and he was instantly overjoyed.

He took a step forward and snatched away the compass.

However, he soon felt something was amiss. He glanced at the compass, a sense of apprehension in his heart. Is that brat trying to plot against me? Hmm, no, it probably wasn't him. He's far too greedy to leave anything good for me. It might have been some careless fellow who temporarily left a treasure here, and I just happened to stumble upon it.

He felt that his thoughts were quite reasonable. After all, it was unlikely that Zeke would casually give him a magical object.

How could someone like Zeke, who nearly robbed him of his own underwear, possibly show any mercy?

Anvindr took a deep breath, his eyes burning with intensity. He picked up the magical object, examining it carefully.

Soon, he discovered the extraordinary nature of the magical object.

"I see. It has a marked binding after all. That's why they were so indifferent. They've underestimated me!" As he spoke, a strange surge rose within him.

In the blink of an eye, that force had seeped into the compass. Amidst the trembling of the compass, it merged its own essence.

However, at that very moment, the compass suddenly began to shake violently, a roar echoing from within.

"Who stole my things!?"

"Heh heh," Anvindr sneered coldly, "It's your grandfather!"

After he finished speaking, he suddenly suppressed the other party's aura, and no sound could be heard from Octantis anymore.

Meanwhile, back at Octantis' side, he stood up in anger.

"D*mn it! It seemed someone had stolen the compass I had just given to Zeke. That was my magical weapon. Zeke is truly a fool, getting himself handled like that. I'm utterly astounded by this blockhead." Anxious, Octantis quickly took out the communication device to get in touch with Michael. “Michael, the compass has been stolen. You must immediately track its location and hurry over there. Don't just follow behind."

"Yes!" Michael moved swiftly, like an arrow released from a bow, and quickly reached the location where the compass was lost.

Upon seeing Anvindr, Michael quickly confronted the former. "Villain, return the treasure!"
