Chapter - 3353

The young man leaped off the tree, soaring over a distance of more than ten meters, and subtly gestured as a greeting.

"It is rumored that there is a Demonic Lotus, and I wonder if I have a chance to obtain it. Even if I don't, it doesn't matter. I can always hunt some depraved spirits to enhance my strength."

"Then our goals are aligned," Zeke said with a smile.

"What martial house do you belong to, mister? Would you mind sharing?" the young man asked again.

Zeke didn't respond. He simply turned his gaze toward Anvindr.

Cognizant of Zeke's intention, Anvindr nodded and said, "Nimbus Sect."

"Oh? What a coincidence. I heard that your martial house's prodigy has encountered some danger..."

"What?" Anvindr was stunned.

The young man chuckled, "Her name sounded like Aretta. She encountered a formidable warrior from Northern Martial House near the marshlands. They were vying for heaven's energy from the peak Sun and Moon Class depraved spirits."

"It really was Aretta!"

With gritted teeth, Anvindr was filled with a strong desire to lend her a hand.

However, his abilities were too weak, so even if he went, he would be of no use.

Even if Zeke had offered his help, it probably wouldn't have made a difference.

Though Anvindr was involved in some robberies, he was not entirely wicked.

His feelings toward Aretta were that of gratitude, admiration, and respect.

Not long ago, Aretta had rescued him from the clutches of Octantis, even gifting him items such as a formation flag. She had encouraged him to try making a comeback.

For that, he was already deeply grateful.

In truth, he was consumed by a desperate desire to enhance his strength. He resorted to using formations to rob cultivators, all in the hope that one day he could keep pace with Aretta.

The young man noticed something off about Anvindr's expression and advised him with a smile, "This isn't something we can meddle in. Since you all are disciples of Nimbus Sect, I'm merely sharing the information I know. I hope you can remain level-headed."

"A Northern Martial House warrior?" At this moment, Zeke spoke with a quizzical expression.

"So, Northern Martial House has now sent out their powerful warriors? Mister, do you have any more information, like how powerful they are, or how many there are?"

The young man nodded. "From what I understand, there were quite a few people, including several prodigies. I'm afraid their numbers might even surpass Nimbus Sect, possibly rivaling the Southern Martial House."

He had mistaken Zeke for a member of Nimbus Sect.

However, Zeke did not bother to clarify the misunderstanding. He thought that it would be better that way. If he didn't have a powerful background, he doubted the other party would have been so polite.

"Mister, how is Aretta faring now?"

"I'm not sure, but it probably won't be good. However, Northern Martial House would likely show some mercy."

"Hmm."

At that moment, Anvindr's gaze turned icy.

"I'm sure the Northern Martial House disciples must have acted brazenly, intending to seize Aretta's spoils of battle. They are truly no good. Aretta never stirred up trouble, so why would she ever have a conflict with them? "May I ask, my friend, from which sect do you hail from?"

Suddenly, the young man's smile turned awkward. After a moment of hesitation, he responded, "From the Northern Martial House."

Anvindr was taken aback.

"What? Northern Martial House? D*mn you!" Suddenly, Anvindr was filled with rage. So, this guy is actually from Northern Martial House, huh? All the sweet talk before this is clearly nothing more than a provocation. Zeke's face also darkened.

"Mister, since you're from Northern Martial House, why did you feel the need to share this with us?"

The young man gave a bitter smile. "This is a battle between your prodigy and ours. We dare not interfere. I know you're angry, but there's nothing we can do. Even if I tried to meditate, it would be useless."

Anvindr gritted his teeth and took a deep breath, anger flaring across his face.

The words spoken by the young man were truly infuriating.

In truth, the young man hadn't expected such a strong reaction from Anvindr, nor had he expected that the latter cared so much for the prodigy of his martial house.

If it were him, he actually wouldn't care much.

After all, these matters between top prodigies were not something they could meddle in.

Seeing that Zeke appeared relatively composed, he figured that the former must be senior to Anvindr. Therefore, he didn't bother with Anvindr anymore and directed his question toward Zeke.

"Mister, are you considering a partnership?"

"Somewhat, I suppose." Zeke nodded in agreement.
