Chapter - 3362

Zeke cast a disdainful glance at them. "Is this the extent of your ambition? We came here for the Demonic Lotus. After obtaining the Demonic Lotus, even if we can't utilize it ourselves, we can trade it with the ancient martial houses and gain an abundance of cultivation resources. We can have anything we desire!"

His words left everyone exchanging bewildered glances, their expressions peculiar.

The thoughts that occupied Zeke's mind were so audacious that they didn't even dare to entertain them, completely overlooking his perspective.

And so, they all assumed that Zeke was merely joking and smiled in response.

Elvis chuckled and said, “Zeke, if we get the chance, we'll definitely seize it."

"That's enough. Judging by your expressions, you're clearly satisfied with this," Zeke said with a pout.

As they were engrossed in their conversation, they suddenly sensed a surge of energy around them. All of them instantly grew vigilant.

Then, they saw nearly thirty cultivators rapidly approaching from the distance. Leading them was a young man, handsome and charismatic, dressed in a long white robe.

He emanated the terrifying aura of a late stage Sun and Moon Class warrior.

Wearing a furious expression, he waved his hand. "D*mn it!"

His shout astonishingly caused the surrounding mountains to crumble and the earth to tremble.

"Those Winged Lions managed to escape again. Also, Edurne's senior, Hansel, has repeatedly spoiled my plans. I must find him and settle the score!"

"We should remain calm. There are still many powerful depraved spirits around us," someone whispered.

"What's there to fear? I'll defeat all of them, no matter how many come!" The man scoffed, then led the multitude of cultivators away.

Zeke and the others breathed a sigh of relief. Thankfully, their formation was strong enough to avoid detection.

If they were discovered, it was uncertain what the other party might do to them.

The words spoken by the man just now had revealed a wealth of information to everyone.

"Rumor has it that Hansel is Lord Wilder's eldest disciple in solitary training. He almost never makes public appearances and is considered one of the top prodigies of his time,” Anvindr said to Zeke.

Anvindr knew that Zeke had limited information, so he tried to share as much as he possibly could.

Elvis added, "Hansel has an advantage in the secret realm. After all, this place is the Secret Realm of Mount Kush. He knows much more than we do. However, I don't understand why he managed to provoke this person."

Zeke was utterly baffled by what he heard. I've never heard about Lord Wilder having an eldest disciple in solitary training. It seems he's been keeping this information a tight secret.

"Who was that man, then?" Zeke asked, puzzled. What's the identity of that man?

Elvis furrowed his brow. "Based on my speculation, I think he should be someone from Ascetic Sect. They aren't exactly an ancient martial arts martial house, but their foundation is profound. No one really knows. the extent of their strength. This person is likely the son of the second elder of Ascetic Sect. He's infamous for his extremely arrogant and domineering behavior."

Anvindr also agreed, saying, "Elvis is right. The only one who could dare to act so arrogantly here, leading a team of over thirty cultivators, is probably him."

"That's not quite right." Elvis chuckled. "He's just used to being arrogant because he's never faced any setbacks. Wait until he encounters the black temple. He'll be in for a surprise."

No sooner had he finished speaking than he detected a fierce, menacing glare.

As Elvis shifted his eyes onto Frostine, who was glaring at him, he let out an awkward laugh. "Frostine, I was merely speaking the truth. I have no intention of provoking you. I genuinely sympathize with what you and your sect members have been through."

Frostine let out an indifferent snort. “Don't speak to me."

Witnessing that scene, Zeke and Anvindr couldn't help but chuckle inwardly. This Elvis is such an idiot. He deliberately touched Frostine's sore spot by mentioning the unfortunate incident she experienced.

Although it wasn't explicitly stated, the words instinctively prompted Frostine to recall her recent ordeal despite her reluctance.

They took advantage of the daylight to set off again, thoroughly familiarizing themselves with the surrounding terrain.

After returning in the afternoon, they sensed the fluctuations of a couple of major battles and confirmed their general direction.

"Let's go take advantage of the freebies tomorrow."
