Chapter - 3380

Elvis' expression significantly brightened when he heard that, and he gave a slight nod. "I don't have any more objections. The main focus now is to discuss how to hunt down the depraved spirits in the late stage of the Sun and Moon Class. Anvindr, we still need to assess your combat capabilities."

Anvindr gave a slight smile, his face radiating calmness and confidence.

"Elvis, please rest assured. I can already feel that my formation technique has leveled up. Now, restraining late-stage depraved spirits isn't particularly challenging." At this point, Anvindr's smile took on a hint of mystery. "I'm going to be honest here. You all might be wondering why Nimbus Sect currently only has one top prodigy, right? That's far less than other ancient martial houses."

It was indeed peculiar why Aretta was the only one from the Nimbus Sect who joined the Secret Realm of Mount Kush.

Logically speaking, the strength of the Nimbus Sect wasn't lacking. Having two or three top prodigies was something one might even expect.

Seeing the puzzled expressions on everyone's faces, Anvindr decided not to keep them in suspense any longer and said, "Actually, those of us who mainly study the legacy of formations, we progress in our abilities at a rather slow pace. This includes my senior, Aretta, who practices the same array formation techniques as mine. In truth, it took me many years of accumulation before I broke through. Now that I have broken through, the difference in my strength compared to before is like night and day."

Upon seeing Anvindr's self-assured demeanor, Zeke was quite eager with anticipation. However, Elvis, on the other hand, let out a heavy snort of disdain.

In the next moment, Elvis brandished his flying sword with one hand, while pointing toward the outside of the camp with the other. "Anvindr, stop pretending to be some sort of elite," he taunted. "You seem so weak that it's pitiful. How about we test our skills against each other?"

A test? Anvindr turned to look at Zeke, his eyes filled with a questioning gaze. He wondered if he really needed to test out his skills with Elvis.

In truth, Anvindr was brimming with confidence, and he was certain he could defeat Elvis.

However, even with all his self-confidence, he still wanted to hear Zeke's opinion.

Upon seeing Anvindr's gaze, Zeke felt a surge of happiness in his heart. Thankfully, I didn't misjudge Anvindr. Even after his breakthrough, he doesn't disregard me as the team leader and still follows my arrangements. Well, I feel a lot more at ease now.

"All right, then," Zeke said, shaking his head with a light chuckle. "You two can certainly have your sparring session. I have no objections. In fact, I am quite curious about Anvindr's abilities and how strong he really is. However, know when to stop. Do not hurt each other."

At that moment, even Frostine, who was usually silent, had a face full of anticipation, tinged with a hint of worry.

She turned toward Zeke with a charming smile and said, "Zeke, let's try not to create too much of a commotion. After all, we are outside the camp."

Upon hearing these words, Zeke couldn't help but feel a certain strangeness. That sounded as though we were about to do something naughty!

With that in mind, Zeke couldn't help but feel his old face flush with embarrassment again. "Ahem! How about this instead? There's no need for you two to test each other out. Let's just go and gather heaven's energy and see if we can verify Mr. Trujillo's strength through actual combat."

"Fine!" Elvis sheathed his longsword. "I'm really curious to see what this guy's got. He's been boasting about how formidable he is, even claiming to share the same lineage as the top prodigy. Well, I don't believe a word of it!"

The sparring session had taken a sudden turn, shifting toward direct combat.

After all, that was the best way to test one's strength.

Anvindr had no objections to this. His expression was nonchalant.

And so, the group quickly set off, heading straight for the nearest location known for harvesting heaven's energy.

When they arrived there, just as in the past few days, someone had again beaten them to it.

Zeke was incredibly frustrated, unable to comprehend how these people could always get to the prime spots before him.

It was important to note that Zeke and the others were moving at a respectable speed.
