Chapter - 3381

Just as Zeke was planning to leave in frustration, Elvis' terrified, trembling voice reached him. "It seems like demonic cultivators..."

Anvindr held his breath, staring blankly at the group of people, his expression filled with terror.

Both women wore equally unsightly expressions.

At that moment, Zeke meticulously examined the aura of the group facing him, and indeed, he detected a demonic energy.

Since entering the Secret Realm of Mount Kush, that was the first time he encountered a large group of demonic cultivators.

Considering the demonic cultivators could make it into Dark Swamp as well, their abilities were certainly not subpar.

Moreover, those demonic cultivators seemed to have come from the outside world. They weren't originally from the Secret Realm of Mount Kush.

That held extraordinary implications, as it signified that there must have been a demonic sect that had mastered the method of teleporting into the Secret Realm of Mount Kush.

If there was one sect who could do it, there would be another. Perhaps that demonic cultivator's team wasn't the only one.

"Zeke, these demonic cultivators are extremely ruthless and cruel. We need to be careful. Let's go." Even Elvis was the first to throw in the towel.

That confident elite, surprisingly, was also afraid at that moment.

From that, it was clear the terror of demonic cultivators had deeply ingrained itself into people's hearts, and even the experts were no exception to resisting that fear.

"What's there to fear?" Zeke furrowed his brows. "I suspect their strength isn't as formidable as it seems. I counted earlier that out of sixteen people, only three are in mid-stage Sun and Moon Class. If we work together, we stand a chance."

Bewildered, Elvis showed a hint of conflict on his face.

"Zeke," he began, quickly letting out a long sigh. "Actually, it's not that I'm scared. It's just their way of fighting was too strange, making it hard to handle as easily as others. Things like Planetary Pull or techniques to summon vengeful spirits, and so on, are all too terrifying."

No sooner had he finished speaking than he heard the unrestrained laughter of Anvindr echoing in the air. "Elvis, so you're actually afraid of ghosts. To think that someone as advanced in their training as you would still fear them. Wouldn't you be embarrassed if people found out?"

Previously, Elvis had been continuously mocking Anvindr, which had deeply upset him. Although he hadn't outwardly shown his displeasure toward Elvis at the time, he had been unhappy about it for quite some time.

Hence, at that moment, Anvindr seized the opportunity and taunted Elvis with an eerie tone.

Elvis was instantly irritated. "Who said I'm afraid of ghosts? I'm just worried that you, being a burden, wouldn't be able to contribute much, and we'll end up losing the fight."

"All right, you two, enough," Zeke stepped in just in time, putting a stop to their bickering. He spoke sternly. "Now is not the time to argue. We either fight or we leave. Let's put it to a vote."

Upon hearing that, Anvindr didn't hesitate at all. "Agreed!"

Seeing Anvindr not hesitating at all, Elvis became even more indignant. "I agree as well!"

Zeke took another look at the two women.

Frostine gave a faint smile. “It's entirely up to you, Zeke. I won't be part of the voting process. However, if we need to fight, I'll give it my all."

Vela also chimed in, "What Frostine has said aligns with my thoughts as well.”

"Then let's fight!" Zeke's eyes hardened. The demonic cultivators must be eliminated for the sake of the people!

If they allowed the demonic cultivators to thrive, even if they posed no threat at that moment, once the Secret Realm of Mount Kush was closed, the ordinary people would be the ones to face the consequences.

While the prestigious and upright clans held sway over many areas, there were always some places that proved difficult to fully control.

Thus, demonic cultivators would always have the opportunity to do nefarious things.

Having made up their minds, Zeke instantly drew his weapon, with Elvis swiftly following suit by summoning his flying sword.

At that moment, Anvindr produced a formation flag, and solemnly said, "You guys go ahead. My formation can render at least two mid-stage Sun and Moon Class demonic cultivators immobile for ten seconds."

"By the way, Zeke." He turned his attention back to Zeke, reminding him, "Don't forget to use the Illusion Bell later."

Zeke gave an awkward laugh. He still hadn't returned the item to Anvindr, having kept it hidden all that time.

Surprisingly, Anvindr hadn't forgotten at all.
