Chapter - 3385

Even though Quincey had no idea about the strength of those demonic cultivators, he was certain that there must be some among them who had reached the mid-stage of Sun and Moon Class, given that they were able to make it there.

It was truly terrifying how ruthless Zeke and his group were, being able to completely annihilate those demonic cultivators.

It seemed as though Quincey was in a hurry, the sounds of his journey echoing through the distance.

Not long after, he suddenly burst out into hearty laughter.

"Zeke, I saw the remnants left by the demonic cultivator and the traces of your battle. Even though it's been almost half an hour since then, I could still sense it. You guys are truly formidable." Evidently, Quincey was on his journey to gather heaven's energy when he happened to stumble upon the site where Zeke had previously eradicated the demonic cultivators.

In their haste, Zeke and his companions failed to conceal the traces of their passage. It was a result of pressing time as they feared that it would attract malicious individuals, including the depraved spirits.

"Quincey," Zeke chuckled slightly. "We've already claimed heaven's energy. My apologies."

"That's not a problem at all. My main concern is your current situation. Do you need any assistance? If things are getting too risky, I can come over to your camp to assess the situation," suggested Quincey.

Zeke was no fool. He could not completely trust Quincey and allow the latter to visit his camp unless the situation deteriorated to the point that Quincey's assistant was necessary.

"There's no need to come to the camp. We are quite safe now." Zeke glanced at everyone, then slowly asked, "We've collected quite a few treasures from the demonic cultivators in the camp. Anyone interested?"

"Demonic treasures? Zeke, holding onto such a thing is risky. People might mistake you for a demonic cultivator. I don't want it, and I advise you not to keep it either."

"All right, I'll confiscate everything when the time comes, even though I won't use them myself. These items might prove useful in our battle against the demonic cultivators. I'll show them to some of our esteemed supreme beings later."

"That's great, by the way, are there any more places to gather heaven's energy? To be honest, in the past few days, my team's yield has been decreasing, causing quite a few disputes."

The so-called dispute was about who contributed more and the amount of heaven's energy required.

That was to be expected. The larger the team, the more likely those kinds of issues would arise.

It was easier when the team was smaller where everyone could discuss things more readily.

That was also a reason why Zeke was not in a hurry to reveal his true capabilities in Octantis previously. He had no desire to compete for control over the region, as even if he won, it would be difficult to manage.

His latest companions were better suited to be in the same team as him and easier to get along with.

Zeke couldn't help but recall the previous situation where Elvis had issues with Anvindr. If Anvindr hadn't put in much effort in dealing with the demonic cultivators, they might have truly had a falling out.

"These past few days, it's not just you guys who've had slim pickings. We've been in the same boat," Zeke said with a laugh. "However, let's be real. Always relying on what others have left behind isn't a sustainable strategy. A lot of it comes down to luck."

"Couldn't help it. Such is the fate of the weak. I have been planning to hunt down the depraved spirits of late-stage Sun and Moon Class. I wonder, are you interested in joining forces?" Quincey voiced his thoughts, expressing his desire to collaborate with Zeke.

Zeke had witnessed their combat abilities. Thus, he knew if they collaborated, perhaps they truly could have succeeded in the hunt.

A glint flickered in Zeke's eyes.

Collaborating with Quincey seemed like a good choice, but in reality, it was not an easy task.

After all, Zeke didn't have much faith in Quincey. His biggest fear was that some unexpected problems would arise during their joint hunting expedition. Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Even if the hunt was successful, how would we distribute the spoils? Quincey's team is not exactly small in number.

"Quincey, let's put our collaboration plans on the back burner for now. There will be plenty of opportunities in the future. I need some time to recuperate, so let's drop it for the time being." Zeke gently turned down the offer.

"All right. If you are interested, feel free to contact me anytime," Quincey said, not wanting to put Zeke in a difficult position, considering it was just a spur-of-the-moment idea.

After exchanging a few pleasantries, Zeke ended the call and turned his attention to Anvindr.
