Chapter - 3401

A wall of fire formed before Octantis, blocking off the dark mist from Orion completely.

At the same time, an illusory figure materialized before him.

When the man first appeared, he seemed bewildered about the events that had transpired there. He glanced around before his gaze finally settled on Orion.

"Is that you, Mr. Orion?"

"Blaze."

Orion's voice was deep and resonant.

Well, well, well... The top prodigy of Southern Faction, Blaze Newell, is actually acquainted with Octantis and even left behind something to save him at the critical moment.

"What is your grudge with him?" Blaze Newell asked.

Quite a distance away, he could only transmit an illusory figure, clearly unable to block Orion off completely.

Orion looked toward Elvis. The latter understood his meaning and began recounting the incident in detail. Throughout it all, Octantis defended himself from the side.

Alas, it only served to make Blaze frown because he noticed Vela. She was also part of Southern Faction and a disciple of an elder, not someone obscure, so it was impossible for her not to recognize him. In fact, they even shared a brief encounter previously.

At that moment, she didn't offer any explanation. Instead, it was Octantis who continuously defended himself.

Therefore, the truth of the matter was clear as day.

"All right, I can't personally attest to the truth of this matter anyway. Orion, the Southern and Northern Factions need to work together, so let's not let a minor issue ruin our relationship," Blaze said with a frown.

He wanted to keep the peace, not wishing to interfere in the matter there.

However, Orion narrowed his eyes.

"What working together? My junior almost met his end, yet you're talking to me about this?"

Being a prideful person, he would never back down easily when someone on his side was wronged.

"Okay, since you're unwilling to let my faction's disciple off easily, Mr. Orion, how about having him pay compensation? Let them state their terms, the disciples of your faction. As long as they're not too much, I wouldn't mind."

"Fine!"

Orion nodded and shifted his eyes to Elvis, his gaze flickering.

Clearly, he was hinting the latter to demand more compensation.

From the start, Elvis had no intention of settling for minor compensation, wishing nothing more than to annihilate Octantis.

However, since Blaze had stepped in, killing him wouldn't be appropriate. It would risk offending a top prodigy and could also invite trouble for Orion. He hesitated for a moment, then turned his gaze to Zeke.

"How about we let Zeke state the terms?"

Orion's brows furrowed slightly.

"Who is this?"

"He's Zeke Williams, the captain of this team I joined on the spur of the moment, fully in charge of the hunt for depraved spirits."

"Oh?" Orion looked at Zeke, curiosity brimming in his eyes.

This guy really has some skills that he dares to lead several mid stage Sun and Moon Class elites in hunting late stage Sun and Moon Class depraved spirits. On top of that, he actually succeeded. If he were to grow, he'd surely be a formidable figure in the future.

Blaze's gaze also swept toward Zeke.

With that, the two top prodigies took note of Zeke.

"Since he is your captain, let him state the terms. Since I'm here, no one can back out.

They agreed to pay compensation, so they must do so immediately."

Seeing everyone's gaze directed at him, Zeke hesitated for a moment. Then, he started, "Since you all entrusted me with the decision, my request is simple. I ask that... other than Octantis' robes, we demand all his other magical objects as compensation. Besides, we want to give him a beating. What do you all think?"

His terms gave Orion a slight pause.

Subsequently, he burst into hearty laughter.

"Haha, great idea! I think it's pretty good!"

Zeke's terms seemed somewhat excessive, but Octantis' actions were even more outrageous. In comparison, they didn't seem as unreasonable anymore.

Moreover, Zeke dared to voice his intention to vent his anger through violence in front of Blaze, showing no respect for him.

Orion was overjoyed.

If Blaze agrees, it'll be entertaining. I can imagine how furious he'll be! He's a fire-type cultivator, so he'll burn quite a few things when he blows!
