Chapter - 3402

The mere thought of making a fellow top prodigy of the same capabilities suffer such humiliation was very satisfying to Orion.

Sure enough, intense and dazzling embers radiated from Blaze's figure.

"Are you trying to demean me, Zeke?"

As a fire-type cultivator, he was blunt with his words, openly stating that Zeke had shown him no respect.

Octantis' expression was also as black as thunder. He promptly gave Blaze a fist salute. "Blaze, you now understand why I absolutely had to kill him, don't you?"

"Shut up!" Blaze's anger flared when he heard that. In an icy voice, he warned, "You almost. killed one of our own. You better hope you don't cross paths with me, or you'll get a beating from me too!"

Octantis laughed dryly, not daring to speak any further.

Filled with anger, he stifled it to the point of frustration.

At that moment, Zeke respectfully bowed at Blaze's illusory figure, saying politely, "Mr. Blaze, I don't mean to be unreasonable. It's just that Octantis was too despicable, nearly killing your fellow disciple, Vela. Innocent, Vela was sabotaged by him, suffering great injustice."

He then began to speak about Octantis' ambush again.

Naturally, the top prodigies couldn't possibly fail to discern Octantis' arrangements. Physically present, Orion even nodded fervently in agreement upon hearing it all.

"You're right. He has indeed planned it long ago. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been possible for him to ambush so easily."

"Fine, then." Blaze snorted. "Beat him up. There's no need to hold back, but just don't beat him to death. I agree to all the other terms. I don't mind any of them. Just don't kill him. I'm leaving!"

After Blaze had said that, his figure vanished right away.

Clearly, he was upset by Octantis' actions and didn't even want to bother with him anymore.

It was only due to their shared faction that he had Orion and the others refrain from killing the man.

That left Octantis utterly stunned.

"Blaze, don't leave! Blaze!"

Octantis' gaze held nothing but despair. Since Blaze had actually left in anger, he could only imagine the extent of the beating he was about to receive.

In the end, he turned his gaze to Zeke and the others, who were glaring at him viciously.

"Don't hit my face!"

He quickly covered his face, only in time to utter that single plea for mercy before they charged forward.

Under Orion's tremendous oppressive force, he was immobilized. In their rage, the others beat him up until he was battered and bruised, his robes torn.

Even his compass and the like were all snatched away.

On top of that, his clothes were torn to shreds as relentless punches kept raining down on him.

Anvindr was even more terrifying. He pummeled without restraint, his blows landing with ruthless intensity. He even took out his formation flag, battering Octantis with it. Suffering greatly under his onslaught, the latter wailed in pain repeatedly.

In the end, Octantis was nearly stripped down to his birthday suit.

Orion couldn't stand watching it any longer, for the man might really get stripped of his underwear.

Zeke and the others pummeled Octantis for a good few minutes before they finally stopped, feeling appeased. Anvindr's hands were even a bit red and swollen.

In any case, they all had a great time, finding it incredibly satisfying.

Even though Vela didn't join in but merely observed from the sidelines, she was gratified inwardly.

If they weren't of the same faction, she would have been tempted to step in and join the finished fray.

"All right, that's enough. Let him go."

Upon seeing that Octantis was on the brink of death, Orion hurriedly intervened.

As his words rang out, Zeke followed up with a few kicks before they all ceased.

"We'll let you off the hook today, but don't let us cross paths with you again! If you dare do it again, you're dead! Do you understand me?"

However, Octantis was beaten so severely that he was almost unconscious right then, unable to make out what they were saying.

Michael let out a dry laugh.

"I will relay your message to him."

"Hmm?" Zeke looked at Michael, lamenting his forgetfulness in settling the score with him. Had I known earlier, I would've also proposed a term of beating him up.

At the malicious look in Zeke's eyes, a shudder ran through Michael's, and he cried out in fear, “Zeke, I wronged you previously, but please spare me!"

With a cold snort, Zeke ignored him completely and kicked Octantis to his side.

"Take him and buzz off!"
