Chapter - 3413

Zeke first silenced his communication device and then turned his attention to everyone present.

"Regardless of whether we cooperate or not, I'll let Quincey know first that the black temple is dangerous. It's best not to have any designs on it. It doesn't seem to have any benefits." He voiced his thoughts to everyone after a moment of contemplation.

"All right, this works too!"

Elvis nodded, and the others followed suit.

Seeing that everyone was in agreement, Zeke once again initiated a conversation with Quincey.

As soon as the call connected, Quincey asked impatiently, "Zeke, have you agreed?"

Zeke furrowed his brows, wondering if Quincey's urgency meant that they were already prepared.

It must be the case; otherwise, there's no way they would have asked me with such urgency.

"Quincey, I must caution you," said Zeke earnestly. "Although the black temple might hold potential opportunities, I think the dangers within aren't worth our exploration. The gains from hunting heaven's energy are significant enough."

Indeed, the gains from hunting heaven's energy were not insignificant.

Zeke had always talked about obtaining the Demonic Lotus. In truth, he was merely exploring the possibility, wanting to give it a try himself.

He didn't harbor the intention of leading everyone into danger; he felt a responsibility toward them all.

However, Quincey and his group didn't think so much about it.

The two teams had now gathered together, and there was no doubt that the number of people was substantial.

Hence, there was a yearning to greedily acquire more resources and opportunities.

Sure enough, Quincey's voice suddenly turned a bit colder.

"Zeke, we're all set on our end. If you're not participating, then don't interfere with our plans. There must be some opportunity in the black temple. How could it just appear out of nowhere otherwise?"

"What kind of logic is that?" Zeke's brows furrowed even tighter.

"The logic is simple. The Secret Realm of Mount Kush is filled with opportunities everywhere. It's impossible for anything to appear out of the blue. Risk comes hand in hand with rewards. Since the black temple is dangerous, the potential opportunities are undoubtedly significant," Quincey replied.

So that's what he meant.

Zeke nodded in understanding.

"You're right. There's some truth to what you're saying, but whether we have the capability to seize the opportunity is another matter. We still have no news about the black temple, so it's best to proceed with caution."

"Caution?" Quincey hesitated for a moment. "Zeke, when you went to seize heaven's energy from the ferocious Cloud Tiger before, I didn't sense much calmness from you.”

Zeke nearly rolled his eyes in frustration. "I had some confidence before. Had I not been certain, I wouldn't have taken the risk. As for that black temple, I have no certainty at all."

"All right, then," Quincey said in an indifferent tone. "I'll save a spot for you. If you change your mind, feel free to join us. We're getting ready now. We'll be grateful if you can lend a hand later."

With that, he ended the call.

Everyone's faces were marked with anger.

"What is Quincey up to? We tried to advise him out of goodwill, but he wouldn't listen!"

"Yeah, he actually wants to explore the black temple. I wonder who he teamed up with to have such guts. It's really laughable. We're not going."

"Let them call for help when the time comes. I bet by then, they'll have suffered countless casualties."

At that moment, Frostine said to Zeke, "Zeke, let's not go. Even though we need to trade formation flags, taking such a risk is just not necessary.”

Frostine understood that if they were to seek them out, they would inevitably put themselves in danger.

By then, there would be no turning back.

Because even if they didn't partake in the exploration, they would still find it hard to escape if any dangerous creatures emerged from the black temple.

After all, the depraved spirits that emerged from the Poison Forest were incredibly powerful.

Zeke turned to Frostine and asked, "When you encountered the black temple at Duality Sect before, what class of depraved spirits were inside?”
