Chapter - 3417

"Mr. Quincey, I don't engage in battles unprepared. Today, I came truly for the sole purpose of trading formation flags with you," he said.

Morvran's expression gradually grew colder, losing the fervor he once had.

For him, having an extra group of people was the best scenario. Even though Zeke's team was small in number, he had recognized that Zeke was a formidable force to be reckoned with.

Previously, Quincey had mentioned that Zeke had managed to single-handedly hold back four mid stage Sun and Moon Class Cloud Tigers, one of which was even at the peak of this stage.

Given the circumstances, it was worth making an effort to win Zeke over.

Morvran didn't really care about the members of Zeke's team.

Nevertheless, Elvis' aura was quite formidable.

Among his team, he was one of the top three.

After a moment of silence, Morvran responded with a fake smile, "All right, then! Zeke, it's best if you remain on the outskirts and refrain from entering the black temple. Should we require your assistance, we will let you know."

He assumed that Zeke was reluctant to pave the way, so he had no intention of forcing Zeke.

By helping from the outside, Zeke could still contribute quite a bit of assistance.

Zeke did not respond, his face revealing hesitation.

Upon seeing this, Morvran continued, "I'll share ten percent of the resources from the black temple with you, Zeke. If your assistance proves significant, we can negotiate further. I assure you, Dominion Sect is not stingy."

Ten percent? If it's just the outskirts, then ten percent is actually not too little. After all, there isn't a need for us to exert too much effort. However, could we really find any benefits? I certainly don't believe so! This person is way too arrogant! Does he think that being in the late stage of Sun and Moon Class would make him invincible here?

Zeke and Elvis exchanged glances, each lost in their own thoughts.

Quickly, Zeke let out a sigh, his face showing a hint of regret as he shook his head.

"Mr. Morvran, perhaps we should take our leave and not impose on you any further."

Having said that, Zeke glanced at everyone, signaling to leave.

The moment he took a step, he sensed a terrifying oppressive aura, which exploded forth in an instant.

The late stage of the Sun and Moon Class!

Moreover, following the eruption of this aura was an earth-shattering pressure. It was as if an invisible mountain was pressing down on Zeke and the others, leaving Elvis gasping for breath.

Only Zeke could barely resist it, yet even so, he found it incredibly challenging.

Is this guy's strength really that formidable?

Zeke had underestimated his opponent's strength. It seemed that the adversary truly had the ability to reach the threshold of a top prodigy. It wasn't just empty talk or an attempt to make a show of strength.

“Ladies and gentlemen, if you were to leave, our location might be exposed. Even if you choose not to cooperate, you cannot leave! If you insist on leaving forcefully, then don't blame me for hurting you!" Morvran said, his gaze icy cold.

As he spoke, his aura grew increasingly terrifying, sending chills down one's spine.

Seeing the situation, Zeke and the others had no choice but to halt their steps. Elvis' hand tightened, ready to summon the flying ship to escape with everyone at a moment's notice.

Morvran was being far too domineering.

With an almost imperceptible glance, Zeke subtly signaled to Orion, cautioning him not to act recklessly.

He then looked toward Morvran, slightly bowing as a gesture of respect.

"It seems like you don't quite trust us, Mr. Morvran. We need to build that trust. You can ask Quincey if we really are worthy of your trust and if you could let us go."

Upon hearing these words, Morvran also turned his gaze toward Quincey.

"Quincey, is this true?"

Quincey's brows were deeply furrowed, casting a cold glance at Zeke upon hearing his words.

Zeke really doesn't know what's good for him. I had wanted to collaborate more with Zeke and build a good relationship with him. I thought that once Zeke got in, he would change his mind out of respect for me. Now, Zeke seems to be nothing more than a coward, a spineless individual to the extreme.

With that in mind, he scoffed and voiced his thoughts without hesitation. "I seem to have misjudged you, Zeke. I didn't expect you to be so cautious! I don't know if you're trustworthy, but once you stepped in here, you should be more considerate of others. You guys cannot leave. If word gets out, it could invite trouble for us. Just stay here.”
