Chapter - 3464

Aretta took out several red formation flags and handed them to him.

It turned out that she had borrowed these formation flags from him.

After receiving the formation flags, Bolton took out two Demonic Lotus petals and gave one to Aretta.

"Keep this safe, no matter what. Do not let them collect all the petals."

"Understood!" Aretta accepted it and then asked, "Are we going to rescue him or not? Give me an answer, no beating around the bush!"

"Track her down. Once you find her, let me know. I'll come if I have the time," Bolton replied.

Aretta stood up in silence, looking toward Elvis and the others behind her.

"We'll leave tomorrow morning to find them!"

Elvis nodded, bowing respectfully to Aretta with gratitude.

"Aretta, if we manage to rescue Zeke, I, Elvis, will forever be indebted to you!"

"I, Anvindr, as well!" Anvindr bowed his head in respect.

Even Quincey, Frostine, and the rest made the same promise.

Though their abilities were weak, and their promises seemed almost laughable, it was clear that Zeke's charisma had deeply affected them all. Even though they were cultivators from different martial houses, they were close to each other.

It was a rare occurrence.

Even a top prodigy probably lacked the capability to command genuine loyalty from others.

Many people hadn't been in the Secret Realm of Mount Kush for long enough to develop deep connections.

Aretta looked at them, a touch of emotion appearing on her delicate face beneath the pink veil.

She had several reasons for wanting to save Zeke. First, she already had a conflict with Vesper and held a deep hatred for demonic cultivators. Second, she found Zeke to be a decent person, a model of righteous behavior that aligned with her own principles.

But mainly, it was due to her ongoing feud with Vesper.

Otherwise, she wouldn't have been so eager to rally her fellow Nimbus Sect members and even seek out another top prodigy from her sect.

"Don't worry, I must save him. That witch is cruel and vicious. If we wait any longer, he might be tortured beyond recognition. Tomorrow, I will contact more acquaintances and make sure we find her whereabouts!" Aretta said solemnly. "If we delay further, he might indeed be tortured to death. There's still some hope now."

Not far away, Bolton appeared impatient. "Aretta, he's probably already dead. It's been almost two days. There's no need to rescue him. The priority is to collect more petals and thwart the demonic cultivators."

Quincey, who had remained silent in front of Aretta, now spoke respectfully, "Aretta, he's likely already perished. We know the demonic cultivators well enough. There's no need to provoke Vesper over this. We'll have plenty of chances for revenge later."

In truth, Aretta shared their sentiments deep down but clung to a sliver of hope.

"What if he's not dead? We can't abandon him. We have to try."

As they spoke, the communication device at Bolton's waist vibrated.

He took it out and frowned, looking displeased.

"Southern Martial House's Blaze? He's nearby and wants to communicate with me?"

"That's quite strange," Aretta murmured. "What business could the Southern Martial House have with Nimbus Sect?"

"Must be something urgent," Bolton said, activating the communication device without thinking much.

"Mr. Blaze, what's the matter?"

Without a soundproof formation, everyone could hear the voice from the other side, so they all listened intently.

"I encountered Vesper!"

The first thing Blaze said was utterly shocking.

"Where did you see her?" Aretta flew to Bolton's side, asking Blaze through the communication device.

"She's already far away. I can't find her now," Blaze replied, then sounded puzzled. "Hmm? Aretta, you're with Bolton?"
