Chapter - 3469

The expressions on everyone's faces became incredibly animated.

This scene was truly thought-provoking and sparked many speculations.

Zeke furrowed his brow, looking at Vesper with a complex expression.

"Vesper, although I didn't suffer any injuries on your side, I haven't done anything to betray you either. It's only right that you let me go. I will find a way to repay your favor in the future."

"Repay?" Vesper sneered coldly. "There's no need. With your weak strength, you're no different from an ant. Repay me? How laughable. Farewell!"

With that, she stared deeply at Zeke.

A powerful telepathy message broke through Aretta's isolation barrier and reached Zeke's ears.

"Zeke, take care of yourself. I don't need you to repay anything. I've already vaguely guessed that I might not survive in the Secret Realm of Mount Kush, nor can I protect you. That's why I let you go!"

This message left Zeke slightly stunned.

He wanted to ask more. However, Vesper, exuding overwhelming demonic energy, had already disappeared with her followers, leaving him clueless about their destination.

Zeke took a deep breath, wanting desperately to know what had just happened.

However, Aretta could no longer be found.

"Sigh..."

Zeke could only sigh deeply.

At this moment, Elvis hurriedly flew to his side. Seeing Zeke's expression, Elvis raised an eyebrow, showing a hint of surprise.

He cautiously said, "Zeke, there's no need to miss her."

"I'm missing her?" Zeke retorted heavily, staring incredulously at Elvis, clearly upset. "Elvis, don't talk nonsense! I have no relationship with her whatsoever. Why would I miss her?"

Anvindr quickly stepped in with a smile, trying to defuse the tension.

"Hey now, no need to argue. I believe nothing happened between Zeke and that witch. Elvis, don't spread rumors. There's nothing to worry about."

Elvis seemed to realize his mistake and nodded deeply.

"You're right, it was my misunderstanding."

Zeke frowned and waved his hand.

"Just stop spreading rumors. There are so many people here watching."

After finishing his words, Zeke looked around.

To his dismay, he noticed that the surrounding cultivators were all staring at him with various expressions. A few were whispering and stifling their laughter.

Clearly, they had discovered something amusing and were discussing it.

Seeing this, Zeke spoke up. "Please, everyone, don't misunderstand. Vesper and I are innocent. I didn't become her boy toy. It's just that I have strong combat abilities and could help her a bit, so she decided to let me go!"

This explanation, however, only made their expressions more interesting, with a few even bursting into laughter.

"Zeke, there's no need to feel embarrassed. I think the witch is quite pretty. You didn't lose anything, right? There's no need to explain."

"We all saw what happened. Your explanation only confirms our suspicions even more."

"Zeke, you're quite the ladies' man!"

Hearing these remarks, Zeke scowled.

Just then, Aretta approached and nodded lightly to him.

Zeke hoped that Aretta understood he had been misunderstood.

But the next moment, Aretta's words made him even more helpless.

"I know that the witch was making advances on you. Zeke, you did what you had to do to stay alive. I understand you. Don't worry, I'll make sure no one spreads this incident."

After speaking, Aretta glanced at everyone present.

"Everyone, listen up! Do not reveal a single word about what happened to Zeke!"

Most of those present were disciples of the Nimbus Sect. Upon hearing this, they all nodded.

"Yes, Aretta!"

"We will obey your orders!"

"Don't worry, Aretta. We won't blatantly spread the truth."
