Unable to control herself, Vesper revealed a devastatingly beautiful smile.

Just then, she felt a powerful aura drawing near.

It was Aretta, who was holding a pink hand fan.

In the blink of an eye, she reached Vesper's side. She clenched her fists, almost unable to stop herself from attacking.

"Vesper..."

She fixed her gaze on Vesper, her face hidden beneath a veil. Still, it was clear that her icy voice was laced with a murderous intent.

Aretta and Vesper were old rivals.

They shared a significant history even before the Secret Realm of Mount Kush was activated.

If it hadn't been for Zeke there, Aretta might have already attacked.

"Aretta, my sister, are you going to kill me?"

Far from feeling intimidated, Vesper instead covered her mouth and chuckled softly.

Traces of tears still lingered in her beautiful eyes. She didn't look as malevolent as before. Instead, she exuded a sense of tragic beauty that stirred a sense of pity in others.

"Don't you dare call me your sister. I'll deal with our grudges later when the time comes!"

With a cold huff, Aretta expressed her disdain.

"Alright, Aretta." Vesper smiled.

Subsequently, her expression subtly shifted.

"Now that I've betrayed the Demon Sect and the orthodox path can't accept me either, where do you think I should go?"

Upon hearing this, Aretta scoffed coldly. "I'll take you back to my sect for trial. Your fate will be decided by the elders of Nimbus Sect. For now, just shut up!"

After she had spoken, Aretta turned her gaze toward Wade.

Wade was there, waiting in somber anticipation for Vesper to make her move.

However, even when Aretta arrived near her, she still did not attack.

Originally, Wade held onto a sliver of hope, believing that Vesper was going to ambush Aretta. However, she didn't react even when Aretta got close. This confirmed that Vesper had truly betrayed him.

Wade noticed Aretta looking at him and Zeke shielding Vesper, glaring at him coldly.

Instantly, he felt a surge of embarrassment and anger.

How dare an insignificant being glare at me like that?

"Are you courting death, Zeke?" Wade was burning with rage after seeing Zeke's icy gaze. "Keep staring at me like that, and I'll gouge out your eyes!"

"If you've got the guts, come on over and let's see whose eyes end up being gouged!" rebuked Zeke coldly.

"You b*stard! Don't think that just because you defeated Cirrus, you can defeat me. I've reached the zenith stage of Sun and Moon Class. If I were to leave the Secret Realm of Mount Kush, my powers would become even more terrifying and advance several levels," warned Wade menacingly. "I'm offering you one last chance to bring Vesper back to me. Then, I'll let you all leave unscathed!"

How shameless!

Wade truly had no shame.

He wanted Vesper back.

Had it not been for the Heaven's Oath he made previously, which left him somewhat wary, he might not have let Vesper go at all.

Now, he still demanded Zeke and the rest to return Vesper.

"Sure." Aretta nodded. "But you have to make a Heaven's Oath."

"A Heaven's Oath?" Wade's expression turned grim.

He certainly didn't want to make such an oath for a second time.

"No. Believe it or not, I've said my piece," asserted Wade coldly. "If you don't follow through, I won't show you any courtesy."

"Courtesy?" Aretta sneered.

She was far from foolish. After winning the one-on-one battle, Zeke finally managed to rescue Vesper.

Even though Aretta didn't agree with what Zeke had done, it was already a done deal. No matter what was said, it was impossible to return Vesper. Doing so would only embolden Wade, even prompting him to attack immediately.

Now, the only option was to fight!

Beneath the veil, Aretta's expression was icy cold. A fierce look flickered within her eyes.

A battle between top prodigies was just on the brink of breaking out.

Just at that moment, Zeke suddenly stepped forward.

"Wade, I challenge you to a one-on-one duel! I want you to personally enter the battlefield and fight. Do you dare to do that?"
