Chapter - 3497

Zeke was completely overwhelmed in his confrontation with Wade.

Countless piercing assaults enveloped him.

This was the strategy of the demonic cultivators, which was far more complex than those of orthodox cultivators. In particular, the vengeful spirits would overwhelm their opponents with sheer numbers, forcing Zeke to divert his attention to deal with them.

Now, it seemed as though Zeke had run out of energy.

"He's lost!"

Someone let out a sigh.

All the orthodox cultivators present couldn't help but wear a gloomy expression.

Zeke was formidable. He was in the late stage of Sun and Moon Class. It was evident that he possessed exceptional combat abilities, surpassing the majority of his contemporaries.

However, in front of Wade, he was still very weak.

"Aretta, it's your turn. Are you going to just sit there and watch him die?"

Suddenly, Vesper turned toward Aretta, her expression incredibly serious.

In her hand was a weapon.

Her entire body emanated a dark aura.

She was planning to make her move.

Aretta took a deep breath, the fan in her hand fluttering. A pink whirlwind enveloped the heavens and earth in an instant. The oppressive force of a formation took shape on the surface of her hand fan.

This hand fan, astonishingly, was used to manipulate and arrange formations.

She also took out a red formation flag.

"Don't worry, he won't die. I have an unparalleled formation!" Aretta assured earnestly.

Wade witnessed the actions of the two individuals, and his gaze turned cold.

"Aretta, Vesper, if you're planning to intervene, then I won't hold back. If you intend to sabotage, then my bet with Zeke is off the table."

Their bet was about sparing Aretta and other orthodox cultivators regardless of whether Zeke won or lost.

Numerous orthodox cultivators wore grim expressions.

They longed to leave. If war truly broke out, perhaps Aretta would have a slim chance of survival. But they were virtually trapped with no escape, and nearly all of them were facing imminent downfall.

Seeing the onslaught Zeke was facing, they understood in their hearts that escape was nearly impossible.

Those vengeful spirits, coupled with the Black Dragon Spear and the sub-divine weapons, were akin to a formidable annihilation formation.

Aretta momentarily froze.

She understood this as well, and at that moment, she felt a bit hesitant.

Should I... make a move after all?

If she took action, it was highly likely that Wade would retaliate, potentially killing the disciples from Nimbus Sect.

She could withstand it but not those disciples.

At that moment, within the massive eye in the sky, there was a ripple of energy.

"Aretta, are you really going to make a move?"

Someone was somewhat infuriated.

It was indeed the sect leader of Nimbus Sect, Himmel.

He didn't want so many disciples to be killed because of Zeke.

At that moment, his expression was gloomy, and in response, a fierce wind began to howl through the air.

These disciples were the future of Nimbus Sect, and he couldn't afford to have them killed. He believed that Aretta would make a reasonable decision for the sake of the sect.

Lazzo chimed in at that moment, "Lord Trujillo, why the rush? Do you really think this young man is bound to lose?"

"Isn't that so?" Himmel huffed. "Lord Lazzo, this is not the time for your cynical remarks. Just keep quiet!"

In response to Himmel's rather blunt words, Lazzo simply offered a faint smile.

"If he's so easily defeated, I won't hold him in high regard either. Even though Wade is powerful, he has a slight vulnerability, like his demonic energy, for instance."

He was clearly insinuating something.

There was an issue with Wade's demonic energy.

"Oh?" Himmel was taken aback.

Subsequently, he focused his gaze on the demonic energy surrounding Wade, finding nothing out of the ordinary.

"Lord Lazzo, what on earth are you talking about?"

He was somewhat irritated.

He truly couldn't figure out what Lazzo was thinking. There was no doubt that Zeke was destined to fail. Despite his striking abilities, he paled in comparison to the more formidable prodigies.

Just then, a deep resonating sound echoed throughout the heavens and earth.

"Oh? You mean his demonic energy can be manipulated?"

"That's right," Lazzo said with a smirk. "I knew this young man would harness the demonic energy. From the start, he was holding back with the Eurasia Sword, and he's still holding back, not revealing his true strength."
