Chapter - 3503

Only when the numbers were sufficiently substantial could power be transmitted psychically.

Of course, the surge of power could only be sustained for a while. Nonetheless, it was already formidable despite being temporary.

Zeke's sudden boost of a whole class was truly too much of an exaggeration.

Vesper had initially thought that Zeke was not the same kind of person as her. However, it then seemed that he had already gone over to the dark side. Still, he somewhat appeared to be the odd one out.

Recalling how he had previously put on an act and acted incredibly cowardly, she couldn't help but laugh.

And to think that a few days ago, I genuinely thought that he was weak.

Perhaps the reality was indeed such because those whose cultivation was of mid-stage peak of the Sun and Moon class in the Secret Realm of Mount Kush were tantamount to mid-stage Nebula Class in the outside world and couldn't possibly accommodate so much demonic energy.

Unbeknownst to her, Zeke was indeed unable to use demonic energy or have Demons perform a sacrificial ritual previously.

In truth, he had never planned to have a sacrificial ritual. It was the Demons who took it upon themselves to do so after sensing a threat to his life by arbitrarily using some unique methods.

Zeke's trump card was actually not the power of a sacrificial ritual.

At just that moment, Zeke glanced at Vesper. In an instant, he then cut through the air and stopped in front of her.

"Vesper, you're currently weak, so just hide behind me," he said with a chuckle.

That scene seemed oddly familiar.

Vesper's expression darkened.

"Zeke, I never hid behind a man. Don't assume that just because you've gained some power, you can have me hide behind you. I can fight too."

Even at a time like that, she still put on a tough front, refusing to admit to her own weakness.

"We'll talk about fighting side by side when you've recovered."

Zeke shook his head with a sigh, his gaze carrying a masked hint of complexity as he looked at the woman.

She reminded him of Lacey.

With a gentle swipe of his hand, an earth- shattering surge of demonic energy manifested.

Following that, a gentle force shot forward and pushed at Vesper.

Vesper gritted her teeth.

"Zeke Williams, you're kicking me away?"

"Hurry up and get going." Zeke flashed her a slight smile. "I'm not entirely confident that I can truly defeat him. If I win, come back and look for me. If I lose, retreat quickly."

After saying that, Zeke increased his strength several notches.

Unable to withstand the force, Vesper was pushed several miles away and ended up near Aretta.

Then, Zeke finally turned around and cast his gaze upon Wade.

At that moment, the power within him finally ceased its explosive growth.

In other words, the Demons' sacrificial ritual had come to an end.

Zeke let out a long exhale. He sensed the overwhelming demonic energy within him, but instead of joy, he was filled with a sense of loss.

I wonder how many lives have been lost now that they made a sacrificial ritual. There are probably few Demons left now. And all this is just because I'm in danger. How I wish to ask them why exactly they did this when there was absolutely no need for it!

In truth, he didn't need them to do as much because he had a plan, although it was somewhat risky.

From the situation then, the odds were further in his favor. However, he couldn't shake off the sense of helplessness within him.

"Wade!" His gaze turned icy, and he spoke to Wade as an equal, his tone indifferent. "This very day next year will be your death anniversary. Do you have any last words?"

"Last words?" Wade laughed heartily.

He then continued, "Zeke, how long do you think your strength can last? Do you believe that the power you borrowed can go up against the power I inherently possess? It's merely borrowed power. In the end, you're still destined to die!"

In an instant, he expanded in size, blotting out the sky and the sun.

That had surpassed the capacity of power the Secret Realm of Mount Kush could

accommodate, and he had broken through some of the limitations of the Secret Realm of Mount Kush.

Right then, he was surprisingly a touch stronger than Zeke despite the latter's power boost from the Demons' sacrificial ritual.

That was simply too terrifying, for he had already become a formidable character at late-stage peak.
