Chapter - 3515

"Vesper." Vela had an innocent look as she asked cautiously, "What is it about this Ancient Graveyard?"

"You, orthodox cultivators, probably don't know much about this place."

In a nonchalant tone, Vesper said, "Yet, I know so much more. Beneath everyone's feet, there actually lies a series of graves. They are the graves of the cultivators who fell during the ancient battles between the orthodox and demonic factions."

Zeke furrowed his brows. "Vesper, you're not lying to me, are you? I've never heard of such a massive battle before. If it did, indeed, involve ancient immortals, their power must have been extraordinary, perhaps even reaching Eternal Class. And yet, you're saying they were buried in the Secret Realm of Mount Kush?"

The Secret Realm of Mount Kush was located in the peripheral district of the core of the human orthodox sects.

The place had always been secure, untouched by the claws of demonic cultivators or any other forces, whether in ancient times or the present.

Of course, they were referring to Eternal Class supreme beings.

"You're right," Vesper responded. "But, in ancient times, it could be even more ancient than what we consider ancient. As for the exact timing, I'm not entirely sure."

"Hmm?" Zeke raised an eyebrow. "So you're saying this place is quite dangerous then?"

"What do you think?" Vesper retorted teasingly, a playful glint in her eyes.

"Um.." Zeke hesitated. At a time like this, why did Vesper still keep others guessing?

Looking at how serene it was, Zeke actually didn't feel much danger.

"Isn't your teleportation point set to a specific district?" He was puzzled.

Vesper rolled her eyes at him.

"Of course not! I have to teleport you, your power is close to when my cultivation peaked!"

In other words, the current Zeke had actually reached the late stage of Sun and Moon Class in the Secret Realm of Mount Kush, equivalent to the peak of Nebula Class in the outside world.

He was just a step away from Eternal Class.

Just a step away from Eternal Class?

That was truly too terrifying.

Had it been in the past, Zeke would never have believed he could have come this far.

"What should we do now? How do we leave?" Zeke asked.

"Don't worry just yet. My gut tells me we're safe here for now. However, it's best to keep our movements to a minimum. Otherwise, things might become unpredictable," Vesper reassured.

A rare seriousness surfaced on Vesper's typically playful face.

"Okay." Zeke nodded, casting a glance over Elvis and the others. He flashed a smile and said, "Everyone should stay put for now and rest up. After all, we've just emerged from the Dark Swamp."

After that, Zeke casually set up another formation with a wave of his hand, separating them from the outside world.

Subsequently, he took out the petals, stems, and roots of the Demonic Lotus before everyone.

"Merge!" A surge of spiritual energy exploded from his body, abruptly merging with the Demonic Lotus.

Not long after, the Demonic Lotus successfully merged.

However, a few petals were missing.

Clearly, the missing petals were still in the hands of others.

A peculiar aura flared around the Demonic Lotus. It was captivating and profound, exuding all kinds of floral fragrances, enchanting and intoxicating.

In a rush, Zeke used his aura to suppress the scent of the Demonic Lotus, before quickly storing it in his storage bag.

Upon witnessing this scene, Vesper remarked impassively, "Zeke, this is your only chance for a breakthrough. Make sure you seize it."

A flicker of concern passed through her gaze, but it disappeared in an instant.

Subsequently, she turned her back on Zeke and the others, a hint of melancholy in her demeanor. She gazed off into the distance, lost in thoughts that were known only to her.

Zeke knew that ever since she betrayed the Demon Lord, seizing the Demonic Lotus from Wade's hand, she was now an outcast between orthodox and demonic factions. There was nowhere left for her to go.

That was the reason for her loneliness.

Vela cautiously glanced at her, quickly moving to Zeke's side, her eyes revealing a hint of timidity.

"Zeke, do you think she holds a grudge? I remember having a spat with her before, but she hasn't said anything to me since arriving here. Do you think she's bottling up her anger?"

Vesper is a demonic cultivator and a top prodigy of demonic sects at that!

"Rest assured, she means no harm and won't do anything to you."
