Chapter - 3532

Zeke didn't understand his own feelings, a sense of unease lingering in his heart.

He hesitated for a moment and said cautiously, "Sir, since we're all humans, could you perhaps guide us to an exit? We intend to seek reinforcements and see if there's a way to rescue you, a supreme being of the Eternal Class, from Ancient Graveyard."

Heavenly God maintained a calm demeanor, showing no reaction upon hearing those words. "No need. They can't assist me. Kush Ancient Formation is set by Skywing Heavenly God and Phoenix Heavenly God. Even if they could break through, the price to pay would be far too great. Even I'm not sure if they truly know about this news."

"Lord Heavenly God, are you implying that the title of Heavenly God is synonymous with the Eternal Class of ancient times?" Zeke raised an eyebrow.

"That's correct." Heavenly God slowly nodded, and he then flashed a slight smile. "Have you asked enough questions? If you're ready, willingly offer your vital energy. I was once a human leader myself. I would prefer not to take action personally."

Zeke's face darkened.

This entity had just told them he was once one of the leaders of the human race.

It was truly absurd that the entity was then threatening to drain their vital energy and kill them.

"Sir, why?" Zeke furrowed his brow.

Heavenly God continued to wear a nonchalant smile, unperturbed by Zeke's expression. "I can only revive with immense vital energy. Once I'm revived, I'll shatter the demon realm, slay the multitude of beast gods, and restore purity to our human race. Your sacrifices will be worthwhile."

Zeke's eyes were filled with unmistakable sarcasm when he suddenly smiled. Eternal Class? So what? Isn't this behavior akin to condemning one's own clan? He said he was once a leader.

I don't buy it!

"Sir, I see little difference between you and those demonic cultivators from the demon realm. You even dare to ask us to sacrifice our vital energy. Can you really claim to be one of the leaders of our race with such behavior?" Zeke asked.

The mockery from Zeke caused the complexions of Vesper and others to drastically change. In this situation, shouldn't we plea for mercy? Yet, Zeke remains so unyielding.

Elvis was closer to Zeke, his face visibly panicked at the moment. He hurriedly tugged at Zeke's clothes, whispering a plea, "Zeke, let's beg him. There's still a chance. Don't anger him further."

"No!" Zeke yanked his hand free, scoffing coldly. His face was filled with anger as he glared fiercely at Heavenly God. "Is this the demeanor of the once leader of the human race? Granted, you hail from ancient times and we are the cultivators of the present, but we still bear the honor of being your descendants. Is this really how you treat us?"

Heavenly God's expression remained unaltered, still placid. However, his tone had taken on a slightly colder edge. "I granted you a chance and allowed you to live a little longer. Yet, millennia have passed. I was the leader of the human race in ancient times, not the current one! If you're expected to make a sacrifice, then you must do so, willingly meet your fate!"

Zeke took a deep breath. Unable to suppress the anger welling up within him, he exploded in rage. "All right! Sir, if you are willing to betray humans, then go ahead and make your move. If you think we will willingly offer up our vital energy to you, I, Zeke, absolutely refuse!"

After Zeke finished speaking, Eurasia Sword suddenly erupted in his hand with a massive surge of demonic energy.

His eyes, too, had transformed, then shrouded in a veil of black mist, exuding an overwhelming demonic energy. "I'd rather die than surrender!"

Upon witnessing Zeke's display, others, too, unleashed their potent spiritual energy, instantaneously gearing up for a major showdown.

However, their strength was incredibly low compared to Heavenly God.

Eternal Class and Nebula Class were worlds apart.

It was like a heavenly trench, nearly impossible to cross.

Heavenly God managed to squeeze out a faint smile, completely unfazed by Zeke's intimidating presence.

He cast his gaze between heaven and earth, leisurely strolling forward. His eyes held a hint of reminiscence as if he was lost in memories. He didn't rush to confront Zeke and his companions. Instead, his voice was calm as he began to recount a story.

"Back in the day, Aurelios, Zerathor, Sylphira, and countless heroes and dazzling stars of supreme beings all fell during War of Chaos. Below the nine heavens, rivers of blood flowed, staining the sky a bloody hue. This pervasive carnage lingered for centuries before it finally receded."
