Chapter - 3563

Through the dying embers, one could see a tranquil yet chaotic scene. Two figures hovered mid-air, seemingly lifeless.

Vela lay quietly in Zeke's arms, as if she had fallen into a deep sleep. Yet her red lips curved into a captivating smile that stirred the soul.

In the end, the smile signaled her acceptance of death from the duel.

It was bitter yet endearing at the same time.

"No..." Zeke's eyes twitched, his mind completely clouded.

The only thing that remained was a resolute desire to survive.

"I need to survive!" However, the conviction in his mind seemed incapable of rousing him.

Thump! Thump!

Outside the blue flame he was sleeping within, a white portal opened, and a graceful figure swiftly stepped through it.

It is none other than Lacey.

Lacey had been searching everywhere, yet she couldn't find Zeke.

Suddenly, tears were shed from her eyes.

Could it be that Zeke has already perished in the Secret Realm of Mount Kush?

Surrounding her, countless spirits swarmed forward. Upon detecting her presence, they unleashed their deadly attacks.

However, Lacey was not like Zeke. She didn't possess the immense combat power to slay them all.

In the blink of an eye, she found herself trapped. Despite her best efforts to break free, it was all in vain.

In just a few minutes, the aura around her gradually dimmed.

"Where are you, Zeke? Are you still alive somewhere? Zeke?"

In a swift motion, she annihilated several spirits, desperately searching for Zeke, but her efforts were in vain.

Her hauntingly beautiful voice was the only thing that remained, as if it was the sole voice calling out within the secret realm.

Upon learning that Zeke was in the Ghost Tomb, she read ancient texts and understood the dangerous nature of that place. Yet she was determined to come.

Unfortunately, all that greeted her upon her arrival were spirits, while Zeke was nowhere to be found.

Moreover, she simply didn't have the strength to fight there.

She feared that in just a few more minutes, her spiritual energy would be completely drained.

Before she exhausted all her energy, she was still searching for Zeke. She yearned to find him, even if all that was left was his body.

They shared a strong bond in both life and death, never forsaking the other.

If they were to die, they would do it together.

What scared her the most was not knowing whether Zeke was dead or alive.

However, it seemed as death was already knocking on her door.

Wave after wave of terrifying attacks from the spirits bombarded her. In an instant, she was hit, causing her to cough up a mouthful of fresh blood.

"Where are you, Zeke?" She appeared to be that blue ghostly flame, a flickering candle in the wind.

Boom!

Within chaotic blue flames, Zeke heard her echoing in his ear.

"Where were you?"

“Where are you?”

Zeke's eyelids were twitching intensely, yet he still couldn't open his eyes.

However, at that moment, a part of his consciousness seemed to have returned.

"Lacey!"

The consciousness within his mind was roaring, yearning to break free from his body, but no matter what, it couldn't escape.

"Argh, Lacey! Let me out!"

Outside, Lacey was completely drained, having nearly exhausted all her cultivation.

Just as she was about to exhaust her vital energy, a defiant, cold laughter echoed.

"Who are you to Zeke? Acknowledge me and I'll come rescue you!"

The aura of someone's zenith stage Nebula Class erupted dramatically.

A black starlight suddenly surged from the distance, a streak of dark rainbow light swiftly striking the swarm of spirits.

Subsequently, those deep, dark eyes turned toward Lacey.

Before Lacey's eyes, the horde of spirits was instantly shattered into pieces.

She paused slightly, looking toward the distant dark figure, her heart filled with alarm.

"A demonic cultivator!"

The person in question was the one who had been trailing Zeke-Demon Star.

Suddenly, Demon Star waved his hand, and a colossal palm appeared, threatening to envelop Lacey and whisk her away.

His wicked laughter then echoed.

"Hey, girl, you've got a pretty good figure. Don't worry, I'll be gentle with you later!"

However, just as he was about to seize Lacey, a crisp, cold laughter echoed through the air.
