Chapter 3569

Following her words, she extended her hand toward Zeke, unleashing the terrifyingly powerful Force of Annihilation. Whoosh! A ferocious storm engulfed him, causing his vital energy to fade at an alarming rate. He began to visibly age, resembling an elderly man. However, after only a brief moment, Vesper withdrew her hand, restoring his vital energy. "I'm not in a hurry to consume all your vital energy; Lord Emerald Sword wouldn't be pleased with that either." After his vital energy was restored, Zeke forcefully spat out a mouthful of fresh blood. As his appearance stabilized, he tightly clutched the wound on his chest, the blood flowing freely and staining the ground a deep crimson. His expression was pale, and his spiritual energy wavered continuously. Yet, defiance radiated from his glare as he stared at Vesper. "Let Lacey go. Release her!" With a teasing glint in her eyes, Vesper transported Lacey back into the world she had created before gracefully sauntering over to Zeke. "Drop to your knees." Her cold rebuke made Zeke's expression grow more pale. "Vesper, have you forgotten our shared past? I saved your life when Wade nearly killed you!" "What on earth are you thinking, you b*tch? Why are you doing this to me? Why do you want to kill me now? Didn't you..." Zeke panted, his eyes glistening. "You were even willing to sacrifice the pill needed for your breakthrough to save my life, but now you turn against me?" "Are you the real Vesper? Are you the Vesper I knew?" Zeke struggled with doubt, unsure whether the woman before him was indeed Vesper. Her every move and even her breath mirrored the Vesper he had once known. It's impossible that this woman is someone else. Zeke couldn't comprehend how Vesper could betray him, especially after she had once been willing to give up the pill that could have led to her breakthrough to the Eternal Class just to save him. Furthermore, she was also ready to bestow upon him the essence of heaven's energy, determined to face Wade together and fight to the death.

Given the deep bond they shared, how could she possibly turn against him now, even threatening Lacey's life? Zeke dismissed the idea that jealousy could be the root cause, as Vesper had never exhibited any signs of it before. A surge of demonic energy erupted from Vesper, directly overwhelming Zeke. Thud! He fell but did not kneel. The pressure bore down on him, forcing his feet into the solid ground beneath. His bones creaked ominously, teetering on the brink of breaking, yet he remained defiant. "Oh, you stubborn little man." Vesper bent down, gently caressing Zeke's handsome face, a faint smile gracing her lips. "Hold on!" Zeke's eyes blazed like fire, filled with rage. "Don't you dare humiliate me!" "You're really something," Vesper taunted, a teasing smirk on her face. "You're nothing but a prisoner now, yet you still have the guts to yell at me?" With that, she brandished the Black Dragon Spear again, thrusting it fiercely toward Zeke's arm, creating two bloody holes. Crack! "Vesper!" Zeke gritted his teeth against the sharp pain radiating from his shoulder. He struggled to move, but her overwhelming aura immobilized him. Had she not drained his strength and dealt him such a severe blow, he could have retaliated. But now, he found himself powerless. "That's enough!" Vesper's icy warning cut through the air. "If you dare to cross me, I'll cut you down, piece by piece!" In a surprising move, she snatched Zeke's storage bag. With astonishing speed, she wiped away the soul imprint and retrieved the Eurasia Sword from within. The speed at which she erased the imprint was beyond imagination, not something achievable by anyone at the zenith stage of the Sun and Moon Class. It seemed she was bolstered by a dark force that enhanced her abilities from afar. Zeke could sense that the threatening aura Vesper exuded was not merely verbal; there was a high likelihood she would follow through on her threat.
