Chapter - 3612

Ruth's body began to erode at a visible pace.

A tremendous force started warping the surrounding void.

"Ruth!" Zeke's expression changed abruptly. He quickly released some of his vital energy and channeled it into Ruth.

In an instant, Ruth ceased her response.

She seemed to have regained some of her senses. The red glow in her eyes had also dissipated.

Ruth raised her head, her eyes slightly dazed. After a while, she regained consciousness.

"Who am I?" she asked Zeke.

It seemed as if her memories hadn't returned. A hint of a cruel smile once again appeared on her face.

"You're Zeke Williams!"

Zeke had a stern expression.

"Ruth, I came with good intentions," he said.

Zeke used his spiritual energy to lift the teddy bear from the ground, tossing it to Ruth.

After receiving the teddy bear, Ruth's face remained cold.

She chuckled, "Lord Emerald Sword has been searching for you recently. Who would have thought you would walk into the trap?"

A hint of murderous intent flashed in her eyes.

"You are the daughter of the Reincarnation Immortal," Zeke reminded Ruth once again. "We came here with good intentions, seeking to discuss a matter with you."

Ruth finally reacted. After a moment of daze, she appeared to have regained fragments of her memory.

"Reincarnation Immortal?" Ruth asked. Her petite face showed a hint of curiosity.

"That's right, the Emerald Sword God used you. We're here to help you." Zeke let out a sigh of relief.

It seemed that Ruth had lost the memories from ancient times.

Perhaps she was unaware of her true identity.

"How can I help?" Ruth asked.

She was still an innocent little girl since she didn't confirm the reason for Zeke's accusation.

"First off, tell me, what have you been up to lately? What have you been doing for Emerald Sword God?" Zeke asked.

"I can't tell you." Ruth let out a soft huff while playing with the teddy bear.

The red glow in Ruth's eyes was fainter than before, which made her look normal.

There was a bit of wear and tear on her teddy bear.

When Ruth landed on the ground, her teddy bear hit a sharp rock, causing it to tear slightly.

Ruth ignored Zeke's words. Her eyes were firmly fixed on the damaged part of the teddy bear. Tears filled her eyes.

"My teddy bear..."

Zeke glanced at Vela, his brows furrowed. "Vela, do you still have toys?"

"Yes, but not much left." Vela lightly nodded.

"Give it to her," Zeke said.

"Okay!"Vela reached into her storage bag, pulling out an even more exquisite little snowman. She then turned her gaze toward Ruth.

"Ruth, I still have some toys," Vela said.

A hint of worry and care appeared on her pretty face, accompanied by a cautious smile.

Vela's actions nonplussed Zeke.

He watched her and found the whole scene incredibly endearing.

However, Ruth didn't even spare her a glance. She was cradling her teddy bear, heartbroken, and whimpering softly.

Zeke furrowed his brows even deeper.

"Be careful, Vela," he warned Vela. "Ruth is acting strange. She might have some mental issues, and it's hard to say. After all, she's a spirit revived from ancient times."

"Vesper is also a dual divinity. The soul of the Nine-Tailed Enchantress is hidden within her. Therefore, it sometimes makes her appear somewhat abnormal. The Nine-Tailed Enchantress is also a spirit from ancient times. Such a weak divine being may have a hazy memory and a volatile personality."

Zeke finally understood. The weak spirits from ancient times faced a huge loss even if revived.

Even though Worldly Immortal was powerful, she couldn't leave the Worldly Palace. Moreover, she was disconnected from her current form.

Ruth's previous lifetime might only reach the Half-Eternal Class.

"Are we not going to help her?" Vela asked while feeling sympathy for Ruth.

"No." Zeke shook his head, and a ruthless glint flashed in his eyes.
