Chapter - 3614

"Miss, I can protect you." Suddenly, Ruth said, "You won't be in danger within the Ancient Graveyard. You can go wherever you want because I can go wherever I want."

She can go wherever she wants? Zeke furrowed his brows, narrowing his eyes. "Even a Worldly Palace?"

"Mhm." Ruth said nonchalantly. "I should be able to."

However, Zeke didn't believe it because he thought no one could go anywhere in the Ancient Graveyard.

The forbidden grounds were such a mysterious place, so he assumed no one would dare to intrude anywhere recklessly.

After glancing at Vela, Zeke couldn't shake off his unease.

After a moment of hesitation, he said, "Ruth, could you release her for a moment? I have something to discuss with you. I have also been to Worldly Palace and gathered some information about you, so I think I might be able to help you."

"Help me?" Ruth poked her head out from Vela's embrace, looking at Zeke with a hint of disdain in her eyes. "You're nothing but a big meanie. I trust her, not you! You're so wary of me, and it even seemed like you wanted my life. Don't think I didn't know! I had considered draining your vital energy before, but it was your extreme wariness toward me that stopped me. You were far more cautious than the other miss!"

"Huh?" Zeke was dumbfounded. How did she know I harbored a killing intent? I thought I concealed it pretty well. Sure, Worldly Immortal said I could kill her and obtain the Great Pryncyp of Reincarnation within her body and achieve Eternal Class, but I never planned to do it from the start.

"Who's the other miss?" Zeke hesitated.

"Ellena!" Ruth responded. "She visited the Ancient Graveyard before and even clashed with Lord Emerald Sword. It was I who saved her."

She playfully glanced at Vela, sticking out her tongue. "So, rest assured, miss. There's no need for you to worry about your safety."

"All right then." Zeke rubbed his forehead.

At last, he understood what kind of character Ruth had. Basically, she doesn't like others being wary of or hostile toward her. As for Ellena, I met her in The Dragon's Graveyard before. Perhaps only she could bring such modern toys to the Ancient Graveyard. I don't know for sure why she came here or if it really is her since I only met her once.

Before, Ruth had harbored intentions to kill Zeke's team, so Zeke didn't trust her, but things had changed.

He paused for a moment, then slowly said, "Ruth, are you aware of your identity?"

"Identity?" Ruth shook her head. "I don't know."

"Do you realize that you actually possess a certain dangerous power within you?"

"I don't know."

"How about this? I'll help you draw out the dangerous power within you, all right? First, release her. Trust me." Zeke gently coaxed her with a caring smile.

However, his smile was evidently not as genuine as Vela's.

Upon a single glance, Ruth immediately noticed something was off about Zeke. Pouting, she left Vela's embrace and stared at Zeke with a cold gaze as a hint of red flickered in her eyes. "You must be lying to me! I won't believe you! I'll pretend I didn't see you today. I'm taking this lady away!"

Zeke furrowed his brows and swiftly moved in front of Vela. He abruptly drew Eurasia Sword, looking wary. "You can't take her away."

Ruth was aloof, an evil aura appearing on her body once more. "Why can't I?"

"We're here to help you." Zeke responded in a cold tone, "This miss also brought you toys. She trusts you so much, which further proves we are not the bad guys."

"I don't believe you!" Ruth pouted, declaring,

"She is a good person, you're not!"

"I am too!" Zeke asked, "You said she believes you, right?"

"Yes!"

"She believes me too, right?"
