The Amazing Son in Law/

Chapter - 1149

Chapter - 1149

On the ten kilometer stretch of hill road, two SUVs with one in front of the other were tailgating each other. These two cars were the only cars on the hill road. Driving through the snow capped terrain was no easy task as all the eye could see was pure white snow.

The plain and repetitive sight of white snow made Duran feel sort of dizzy. He then said in an annoyed tone, “That little Wade twerp is such an inbred bastard. Since that father son duo pissed him off, then just kill them off already! What’s the point of sending people to this…this shit hole of a place? Now, he has to trouble me to come here…such bad luck.”

The driver spoke in a helpless manner, “Before I came, I did some investigation on this person called Wade. He was known as a demon. Not only does he like sending people here to dig for herbs, he also loves sending people to the black coal mines to mine for coal. I even heard that he once made the boss of a listed company work in a construction site as a cement carrier.”

“What about it?” Duran snapped. “Did all of you forget how the gang members died? A dozen people were all stuffed into a car and buried in the river. Even their corpses were left there, do you know what kind of fate awaits them?”

The driver chuckled as he spoke, “The person is already dead, what else can happen to them?”

Duran continued, “In the river, there are fishes, prawns, and crabs. The car is just a metal cage holding all these dead bodies at the bottom of the river. These bodies will eventually be eaten by the fish, prawns and crabs. The bigger fishes will devour the flesh while the smaller ones will nibble on the skin. All of you who like to go to these so-called fish spa massage parlors, remember the little fish that nibbles on your dead skin? Those fishes will eventually devour all the flesh from the dead bodies and leave only the corpses in bones.”

“Curses!” A man who was seated in the back seat shouted. “It’s no wonder people want to murder him. This twerp is just too cruel!”

Duran spoke lightly, “We too have to tread carefully. It would be best to retreat if necessary.”
The driver asked, “Sir, do you think there will be a master on Mount Golim?”

“There shouldn’t be any,” Duran replied. “The people of the Webb family came by a few hours ago. According to those who survived the battle, there were no close combats taking place during the war. It was an all-out range assault. Therefore, I guess that there shouldn’t be any masters around since it’s mostly armed bodyguards.”

“If that’s the case then it’s all good.” The driver chuckled.

“We’re brothers and we’ve endured a lot of physical training. Although I can’t call myself a pro, I’m still quite resistant to bullet wounds. Seems like it’s going to be a massacre tonight! It should be an easy victory, let's return to Southaven triumphantly.”

Another man spoke, “Wouldn’t it be great if Charlie Wade is there as well? We must kill him and get rewarded by Lord Webb.”

“That Charlie Wade shouldn’t be here.” Duran smiled. “The Webb family did some prior investigation. Before we left, Charlie Wade was still in Aurous.”

As Duran continued, he gave out a short sigh. “If only he was there…we could just get his head and present it to Lord Webb. Lord Webb would definitely reward us with a few million dollars.”

“Oh yeah…brother, since Charlie Wade is such an evil person, could it be possible that the weird disease that the second son of the Webb family contracted is related to him?” the driver asked.

Duran shook his head in disagreement.

“This is hard to tell…but it’s not impossible.”

Duran continued, “The Webb family's second son’s weird sickness is indeed a peculiar disease. It’s been so long since he has been infected yet there’s still no known cure. There’s also no medication to relieve him of the suffering too.”

At this very moment, Charlie Wade was standing atop the mountain with his arms folded as he stood on the snowy capped ground.

Behind him, Isaac Cameron, Don Albert Rhodes, and Liam Weaver were shivering in the cold as the chills seeped into their body, turning their face and lips pale.

Isaac Cameron was clenching his arms as he chided, “Damn The Eight Heavenly Kings, they’re so slow! It’s going to be dawn in an hour!”

Don Albert gazed upon Charlie and asked with concern, “Master, your clothes are so thin…aren’t you feeling cold?”

Charlie Wade gently shook his head. In his current state, he no longer felt the chilling cold.

Even if he were standing on this mountain top for a few days, maybe even a month, he wouldn’t feel anything at all.
