The Eight Heavenly Kings were astonished and bewildered when Charlie could defeat the seven of them with a single palm strike! Are you not convinced?” Duran gulped in shock and said, sounding rather anxious, “I’m convinced! I am absolutely convinced by your power! Master Wade, you are the true master in the world and as a fellow martial artist, you must be aware that it isn’t easy to gain what we have today. I hope that you can forgive us for the sake of our defeat. After all, a confession is half redressed!” Charlie laughed in amusement. “What? Why do you ask for forgiveness so soon? What’s the hurry?” Duran muttered, “I know that I’m not as good as you are and I don’t want to do anything unnecessary but to ask for your mercy!” Charlie asked, “You had only one mission here, that is, to kill me, and now you beg for my mercy and forgiveness simply because you can’t kill me. Do you really think the world is so wonderful that you can do as you please? If I realize that I’m not on par with you and beg for your mercy to let me go, would you agree to my request?” Duran’s face twisted into a scornful grimace. He knew that Charlie would not let him go so easily. Hence, he knelt on his knees and said, “Master Wade! If you can show us mercy, I promise that we, The Eight Heavenly Kings, will be forever your slaves and listen to your commands!”

Charlie smirked in amusement and asked while locking his gaze at him, “Oh? Do you want to get on my side now? How will you report to Lord Webb when you return?” Duran said, sounding earnest and serious, “A fine fowl perches only on a fine tree. I know that your power is unpredictably powerful, so I’m willing to forsake darkness for light and be your humble follower forever!” Charlie nodded with a blank expression and slowly walked towards Duran and the others. No one knew what was playing in his mind. As he walked closer and closer, Duran urged his brothers quickly, “Quick! Get down on your knees and worship Master Wade!” Upon the shout, all members of The Eight Heavenly Kings flipped around, knelt down, and bowed their heads to Charlie, including Hades with his crippled right arm. At this moment, Duran reached his left hand into his sleeve stealthily and gripped a dagger tightly. The dagger was only as wide as his palm and it was not lethal especially for skillful men like Charlie. However, Duran’s dagger was special. It was laced with highly toxic poison as well as a small trace of radioactive powder. The radioactive powder was not harmful if left untouched but once anyone came into contact with the powder and it entered the body through a wound, the person would suffer inflammation and erosion that would not heal for a long time. This was also Duran’s most dangerous secret weapon that he had been discreetly using for decades. Except for his brothers of The Eight Heavenly Kings, everyone who had seen this dagger was dead! Charlie had shattered his right arm and it was the most resentful thing a person could do to him! Therefore, it was impossible for him to bow to Charlie at all! He had pretended to succumb to his power as he assumed that at Charlie’s age, he was too young to know any better.
