In a guilty voice, she said, “Mr. Ward, I dare not take you as a fool. This son of mine, he is… mentally challenged! He couldn’t wait any longer for his daughter to walk down the red carpet with Steve and settle this issue once and for all. Due to his impatience, he couldn’t tell that Leann was trying to pin the blame on Charlie. Grant turned to Charlie and said, “Twerp! If you were to spoil my daughter’s marriage plans, I will crush you!” Charlie sneered, “Why are you so desperate to marry off your yam-looking daughter? Is she really that desperate to get married?” With gritted teeth, Mr. Ward ground out, “If I were you, I would pick my next sentence very carefully.” David quickly ran toward them as he saw Charlie and Mr. Ward arguing. He then turned to Mr. Ward and said, “In-law, please don’t bother with this little twerp. He has not seen the world yet. It’ll be bad for your health to get angry over this inexperienced child.” After trying to calm Mr. Ward down, David turned to Charlie. “Twerp, I don’t know you, nor do you know me. I don’t want to meddle with your affairs, so I hope that you will stop meddling with my family’s affairs. Today, my son will marry Mr. Ward’s daughter. So please, stop trying to intervene and leave!”

“That’s right!” Leann exclaimed. “This is our family affair! You, as an outsider, know nothing of what’s happening! So, please leave! Stop interfering with my son’s wedding!” After saying that, Leann’s face turned red with frustration again as she looked at Isabella and said coldly, “And you… you lowly, good-for-nothing bitch! You haven’t even married my son, and you’re already pregnant with his seed. Disgusting! My family doesn’t welcome sluts like you! Now scram!” Grant Ward’s expression changed upon hearing those words. Since his own daughter also wasn’t married and was already pregnant with the child of a mixed-race man, he felt an uneasy feeling in his chest after hearing what Leann had said. Although she was scolding Isabella, she was indirectly scolding Grant’s daughter as well. In order to correct her mistake, Leann quickly turned to Mr. Ward and showered him with praise. “Mr. Ward, please quench your anger. I was scolding this slut. Your daughter is different because she’s such a lady and even furthered her studies in America, unlike this bitch!” Tears streamed down Isabella’s face as Leann spoke her mind. Leann saw the sobbing Isabella and decided to insult her even more, “What are you crying for? Did I frame you? Disgusting bitch. Completely undignified! Your whole family is of a lower class! Take that slut and leave!” Charlie chuckled, “Since you’re doing this… let me fulfill your wish.” Leann laughed, “Now you’re talking!” Charlie laughed sardonically, “Don’t celebrate too early. What I meant was, today, your husband will have to marry Mr. Ward’s daughter. If you don’t comply… I will massacre both your families!”
