Chapter - 5890

As soon as Chance Yarrow spoke these words, everyone was taken aback.

Initially, they had assumed that Charlie was a high-ranking member of the Warriors Den. But they were utterly astonished to hear Chance Yarrow claim that Charlie was offering them a chance to break free from the Warriors Den. This massive psychological shift left them completely unsure of how to respond.

Noticing the dazed expressions on their faces, Charlie addressed the crowd: "I understand that you have been imprisoned and enslaved by the Warriors Den for generations, becoming killers under its command. I possess the ability to cleanse your bodies of the poison that binds you and provide a safe haven for you and your families, ensuring that you will no longer be oppressed by the Warriors Den. However, there is one condition: you must unconditionally assist me in defeating the Warriors Den. Once we eradicate it, you and your descendants will be free. At that point, you are free to go wherever you wish."

The crowd remained in disbelief.

For centuries, they and their ancestors had been under the Warriors Den’s unyielding control. Over those years, many had attempted to fight back or escape, but the foreign poison within them felt like an unshakable curse that no one could lift. Now, a stranger was claiming he could help them break free from this curse, and their immediate reaction was skepticism.

Seeing the doubt linger in the crowd, Charlie decided to forgo lengthy explanations. He turned to Chance Yarrow and said, "Commander Yarrow, hand me the water."

"Of course!" Chance Yarrow immediately passed the large bottle of purified water to Charlie. Without waiting for further instructions, he began distributing paper cups to the assembled soldiers.

Charlie added some pills to the water bottle, and as they dissolved, he approached the first soldier, pouring a small half cup into his cup. He then filled cups for each of the other soldiers in the same manner.

Though the soldiers were confused, Charlie remained silent, and Commander Jones took no action, leaving everyone to simply hold their cups.

Charlie stood before them and declared, "Everyone, we have little time to waste on words. After you drink from your cups, you will understand everything. If you trust me, step forward; if not, step back."

Seeing Charlie's directness, Jon Jones did not hesitate and replied, "Thank you for your kindness, Mr. Wade!"

With that, he tilted his head back and drank down the water in his cup.

For Jon Jones, who had known nothing but servitude since birth, he felt that no one would wish to harm someone as powerless as he. So, he had nothing to fear.

Almost immediately after consuming the tasteless water, he felt a significant change within his body.

The poison that had settled in his meridians and Dantian felt like foul mud coating previously clean walls. This grime covered everything, leaving a disgusting residue.

However, after drinking the water, that mud was swiftly flushed away, leaving no trace behind!

In that moment, he understood that Charlie wasn’t exaggerating; he was genuinely offering everyone a chance to escape the grip of the Warriors Den and shed generations of shackles!

His fellow soldiers experienced the same miraculous relief. The poison within them vanished, leading to ecstatic reactions. Many were unable to hold back their tears.

Jon Jones was the first to gather his wits. He looked at Charlie, took a bold step forward, knelt on one knee, and clasped his hands in front of him, proclaiming, "I am willing to die for you!"

Inspired by him, everyone else followed suit, kneeling on one knee and echoing, "I am willing to die for you!"

Charlie nodded and announced, "Since there are no objections, I will begin devising an evacuation plan. You must all adhere to my instructions without any deviations!"

Jon Jones replied earnestly, "We will follow your commands!"

Charlie stated, "Alright! Here is my evacuation plan: Starting tonight, all soldiers and their families will begin evacuating one by one. We are facing a distance of nearly 100 kilometers. To mask our movements, all soldiers will start marching tonight. This journey must be completed within six hours. You are all warriors, so this pace shouldn't be an issue for you, correct?"

Jon Jones quickly responded, "No problem! We will reach our destination within six hours!"

"Good," Charlie confirmed. "If any family members can keep up, they should join you. If not, don’t worry; I will arrange for transportation later."

Looking at his watch, he continued, "It is currently ten o'clock in the evening. We have limited time. You will have one hour to prepare. Inform all your comrades and family members about this plan, get them ready to leave, and divide the people into three groups. After one hour, the first group of soldiers and their families who can manage the forced march will depart. The second group will leave in one-and-a-half hours, followed by the third group in two hours. The third group must reach the destination before dawn to avoid detection. Is that clear?"

The crowd responded in unison, "We understand!"

Charlie added, "This evacuation is your opportunity to liberate yourselves from the Warriors Den and the life of bondage. Make sure everyone understands that they can leave behind any personal belongings that aren't essential. During the march, aim to leave no items behind. Each group must have one team scouting ahead and another securing the rear. We cannot leave any traces of our movement. Do you comprehend?"

Once again, everyone replied, "We understand!"

Charlie nodded and elaborated, "The overall evacuation plan consists of three stages. The first step is to evacuate to the transit station within three days. The second is to move from the transit station to the seaport, and the final step is to evacuate thousands of kilometers across the sea.

"Currently, you are located inland in Morocco, and we must reach the transit station within three days. It will take at least one month to safely evacuate to a secure area from there, twenty days of which will be spent at sea. If we leave any traces during this evacuation, the Warriors Den will track us down. If they catch up, it could spell disaster for us all.

"Thus, throughout the entire evacuation, you must adhere to the established command structure and ensure that your subordinates are controlled effectively. Everyone must strictly follow the rules!"

Jon Jones immediately assured him, "Rest assured, sir. I will personally make certain that all team leaders leave no traces during the evacuation!"

After a brief moment of hesitation, Jon Jones asked, "Sir, may I ask for clarification on one matter?"

"Go ahead,” Charlie replied.

Jon Jones quickly inquired, "When will you be able to detoxify the other soldiers and their families?"

Charlie answered, "You needn't worry about your comrades and their families. After we complete the first phase of evacuation in three days, I will focus on detoxifying everyone at the transit station."

Jon Jones expressed his gratitude, saying, "On behalf of all my comrades and their families, I bow in gratitude for your kindness!"

Charlie nodded, his expression serious. "You must hurry and prepare. The elevator has a limited capacity. Let the first group of brothers depart as soon as possible!"

Jon Jones responded, "Sir, my comrades and I have never left the base while fully aware; apart from mission destinations, we have no knowledge of what lies beyond the mine. Could you arrange for a few people to guide us along the way?"

Charlie smiled reassuringly, "You need not worry; I will make sure to arrange that."

Then he turned to Chance Yarrow and instructed, "Commander Yarrow, I will provide you with the coordinates of the transit station shortly. Please select a few capable members from the Cavalry Guards to lead these soldiers, and I will arrange for others to meet them in advance."

Chance Yarrow replied, "You can count on me, Mr. Wade. I will ensure it’s taken care of!"
