Chapter - 5908

Tara browsed through the pictures Charlie had given her with a sense of curiosity. These portraits were essentially curated by AI, which first highlighted the facial features of passengers from the two business jets, followed by Asian passengers bound for Spain from various other boarding gates.

As soon as Tara opened the photos, she was taken aback.

Every single passenger on the business jets appeared to be high-ranking officials and their families associated with the Right Army Governor's Office!

Among them were also two high-ranking officials and their families!

She couldn't help but ask Charlie, "Mr. Wade, how did you get these photos? All of these individuals are key members of the Right Army Governor's Office; more than half are from the Mirren family, and included are two high-ranking officials—almost at the top tier of the Right Army Governor's Office aside from the Governor and General Grant."

Charlie exchanged a knowing glance with Jack and couldn't help but smile. It seemed that this AI was truly remarkable. Through airport surveillance, it had successfully pinpointed the significant movement of personnel from the Right Army Governor's Office.

So, Charlie explained to Tara, "If you look closely at the backgrounds of these photos, they were all taken at the airport. These individuals left Naples by plane in the last two days, headed for a city in southern Spain. Do you think they might be relocating?"

"That’s quite possible," Tara replied, nodding. "I’ve heard that the Right Army Governor’s Office periodically changes its location. If there's an emergency, that change could be expedited. However, I have no idea where they might be relocating. Given the number of people heading to Spain in such a short span, it’s likely that their new base is there."

After listening to her, Charlie nodded slightly. "A large-scale relocation in such a brief time frame indicates an emergency order. It's highly likely that their recent failure in Nigeria, combined with your disappearance, has raised concerns about the security of their Napoli base."

He continued, "But they may never expect that such an urgent personnel transfer would be leaked."

Tara couldn't help but exclaim, "Mr. Wade, your intelligence gathering is truly impressive. The Governor's Office has always been extremely cautious. Everyone possesses multiple legal identities with diverse backgrounds. Normal investigations would reveal nothing amiss. You managed to uncover this just as the transfer began."

Charlie smiled subtly. Tara's line of reasoning was radically different from that of AI. Human beings tend to apply direct, logical solutions first. It's like solving the classic math problem where you have chickens and rabbits in a cage. With a total of thirty-five heads and ninety-four feet, people naturally look for the simplest mathematical approach to derive the exact numbers. They develop specific algorithms to hit the crucial points. Once someone discovers this method, they can readily apply it to similar problems down the road.

AI, on the other hand, is not bound by such constraints. With its immense computational power, it doesn't require intricate strategies. Consider the scenario: thirty-five heads in a cage. How many animals are there? Let’s assume one is a rabbit; if that assumption is incorrect, it simply counts it as two. Though this approach might appear simplistic, its superior processing speed allows it to solve a multitude of similar problems almost instantaneously.

No matter the scale—whether thirty-five heads, three and a half million, or thirty-five million—it doesn't represent a challenge for AI; it's merely a task completed within milliseconds.

Therefore, AI doesn't adhere to the methods humans often rely on; it simply proceeds with brute force. Analyzing countless video feeds from numerous airports and passengers requires that it scrutinizes every single frame and pixel—providing it with a far broader perspective than that of humans.

Currently, numerous members of the Right Army Governor's Office have been identified by the AI. In the future, as long as these individuals come into sight, they will be flagged immediately, leaving no room for escape.

Thus, Charlie instructed Tara to continue identifying other potential suspects. Although she might not recognize some of them, she could still use her memory to determine if they were affiliated with the Right Army Governor's Office. Consequently, Tara confirmed at least eighty percent of the individuals flagged by AI, with the remaining twenty percent possibly being individuals she had not encountered during her time within the Governor's Office.

Turning to Tara, Charlie expressed his gratitude, "Thank you for your help, Miss Decker. I initially planned to take you to Naples, but it seems that won’t be necessary. The last group of evacuees will depart shortly, and you can leave with them."

Tara had been awaiting Charlie's decision regarding her. She did not want to leave with these people to an unknown destination. She yearned to stay close to Charlie to demonstrate her worth, fully aware that she lacked the ability to heal from the poison Morgana had left in her. Her only hope rested with Charlie.

However, if she lacked value to him, he might not feel compelled to assist her.

A year had flown by in the blink of an eye. If she didn’t obtain the antidote, she was certain to perish within that timeframe.

Hearing Charlie’s suggestion that she evacuate with others made her spirits plummet. She feared that he would completely disregard her. With her cultivation sealed and her freedom curtailed, combined with the lurking poison within her, she dreaded the thought of being abandoned by Charlie in some desolate corner of the world—fearing it would be the end of her life.

Noticing her inner turmoil and despair, Charlie reassured her, "Miss Decker, no one leaving knows the destination they're heading to. It's not an intentional secret but rather a precaution. I fear that some may encounter unforeseen mishaps along the way. If the destination reaches the Warriors Den, it could jeopardize not just these ten thousand, but also the thousands who came from Cyprus before. So for you too: while you may have doubts and worries, let me assure you, you're only heading to a temporary place. I've still got matters to attend to. Once I wrap things up, I'll return to China, and I will escort you personally. I promised you I’d arrange for you to meet Zeba, and I intend to keep my word."

Upon hearing this, Tara felt a wave of relief wash over her. It was as if she had narrowly escaped disaster. With tears in her eyes, she said to Charlie, "Thank you, Mr. Wade. Thank you!"

Charlie nodded gently and replied, "Alright, go get ready. We’ll be leaving soon."

"Okay!" Tara responded quickly. "I won’t take up any more of your time, Mr. Wade and Inspector Lee."

With that, Tara bowed to both Charlie and Jack before carefully stepping out of the door.

Once Tara had left, Jack inquired with Charlie, "Mr. Wade, do you plan to go to Spain?"

"Not for now," Charlie replied. "Our ancestors had a saying: never pursue a desperate enemy. These individuals are evacuating in such a hurried and anxious manner, resembling a cornered enemy. Pursuing them at this stage wouldn’t yield any benefits. Regardless, we have their movements under control, so let them have a moment to breathe."

"Precisely," Jack smiled, "Chasing them now is indeed futile, especially given that their commander-in-chief is still in Morocco."

Charlie nodded and added, "Speaking of their top leader, I truly hope to find an opportunity to meet him."

Jack asked eagerly, "What’s Mr. Wade's plan? Are we going to capture the leader first?"

Charlie grinned and said, "There’s little value in capturing him; instead, I could lend him to Morgana."

He then asked Jack, "By the way, Inspector Lee, do you think the factory director will show up tomorrow?"

Jack replied, "Tomorrow or the day after at the latest."

"Good," Charlie said. "Let’s tidy this place up and clean the area before the final group evacuates. We’ll stay behind and find a concealed spot to wait for him."
