Chapter - 6028

When Steve learned from Matt Finkelstein that Hank had genuinely been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this time in the U.S., he felt a mix of surprise and inevitability.

Charlie mentioned that it wasn't unusual for such matters to be accurate. If he couldn't get it right, that would indeed be strange.

He instructed Matt Finkelstein, "Once you see him off the plane, head straight to Heaven Springs, and I will get in touch with you. If Mr. Wade decides not to go, I will meet him first."

Matt Finkelstein immediately inquired respectfully, "Mr. Rothschild, will he still be charged for his meal tonight? If so, I'll let him know in advance."

From Matt Finkelstein's perspective, since Charlie had previously charged everyone $10 million for meals, this time with Hank returning, he surely wouldn’t pass up the chance to profit again.

Steve smiled and replied, "The meal fee will definitely be collected. He deserves to be treated by Mr. Wade."

Matt Finkelstein smiled and said, "Got it, don’t worry, I’ll inform him right away."

After hanging up, Steve called Charlie to report the situation honestly.

When Charlie heard that Hank was back, he grinned and said, "This old guy seems to be able to manage anything. Let me know when he arrives at Heaven Springs; I'll go see him."

...

After more than ten hours in the air, Hank's private jet touched down at Aurous Hill Airport, well past seven in the evening.

As soon as he landed, he hurried straight to Heaven Springs without delay.

Upon arriving at Heaven Springs, Don Albert was on the first floor. He quickly approached with respect, saying, "Oh, Don Albert, please arrange the diamond box I booked the day before yesterday. I want to invite Mr. Wade to dinner tonight."

Don Albert replied, "You need to book a diamond box in advance. It's already reserved for tonight."

He then added, puzzled, "I didn’t receive any instructions from Mr. Wade about inviting him to dinner."

Hank explained, "Mr. Rothschild told me to come to you first. Mr. Wade should be in communication with him."

Don Albert said, "The diamond box is typically reserved for Mr. Wade, but today Miss Tawanna Sweet has her team dining in it, so Mr. Wade instructed me to accommodate her there."

Hank felt a bit embarrassed and asked, "Is there only one diamond box?"

At that moment, Hank was truly impressed by Charlie. He felt he should be in the best private room to dine with Charlie. Otherwise, if he seemed negligent, he'd really struggle to justify it.

Don Albert casually remarked, "There is only one diamond box, but you can sit in the gold box for now. I’ll check with Mr. Wade."

"Alright, okay!" Hank quickly nodded, saying, "That would be much appreciated!"

Don Albert called Charlie, and when he answered, he respectfully said, "Master Wade, the American named Hank is here again. He said he wants to treat you to a meal in the diamond box, but it’s currently reserved by Miss Sweet. What do you advise?"

Charlie smiled and replied, "I've had dinner at home, so please arrange another private room for him to wait. I'll join him later, but remember, the meal fee must be charged; there should be no exceptions."

Don Albert promptly said, "Master Wade, don’t worry. I’ll make sure it's arranged."

After hanging up, he told Hank, "Mr. Wade said to wait for him in the gold box for now; he will come by later."

"That's wonderful!" Hank exclaimed, quickly shaking Don Albert's hand. "Thank you very much, Don Albert!"

Don Albert nodded, noticing Hank's excitement as he led him to the gold box before stepping out.

Hank hastily called Matt Finkelstein to inform him that he had arrived at Heaven Springs.

Matt Finkelstein passed the information on to Steve, and the two drove over together.

When they arrived, Charlie had not yet made it. Matt Finkelstein opened the golden box door but did not step inside; instead, he moved to the side to give Steve enough space.

Steve entered with a smile. Upon seeing Hank, he inquired, "What’s happening, Hank? Do you really have pancreatic cancer?"

Noticing the smile on Steve's face, Hank realized he was being mocked and replied sadly, "Mr. Rothschild, please don’t joke with me. I truly have pancreatic cancer. The doctor told me it’s very serious, with only a 10% survival rate over five years."

Steve laughed and said, "Well, 10% isn’t nothing. For someone like you, that's a decent chance."

Hank’s face flushed with embarrassment, and he chuckled, "Mr. Rothschild is joking, but I do wish to live a couple more years..."

Steve’s expression turned serious as he responded, "Then you should remain in the U.S. for active treatment. Why rush back here?"

Hank quickly replied, "The only person who can save me is Mr. Wade. I had to come back and ask for his help..."

Steve pondered but remarked, "I remember when you left, you didn't seem to take it seriously. You realized you were sick when you got back? I understand now why Mr. Wade is so impressive."

Hank sighed, "Honestly, Mr. Rothschild, during my return journey, I reflected and realized how little I know about the world, and I lacked respect for the capabilities of Eastern powers. I've resolved to follow Mr. Wade from now on. If Mr. Wade can help me heal, I’ll settle in China like Matt did and serve him wholeheartedly!"

Just then, the door swung open, and Charlie entered with a grin, joking, "Hank, if you stay in our country long enough, you'll be locked up for the things you've done."

Seeing Charlie walk in, Hank rose excitedly, rushed around the large dining table, and knelt before Charlie, pleading, "Mr. Wade! Please, I wish for you to save my life, Mr. Wade!"

Charlie inquired, "What? Did they confirm the pancreatic cancer when you returned to the U.S.?"

"Yes, confirmed…" Hank quickly replied. "I checked my CA199 levels, and they soared past 600. They found a lesion on my pancreas, and the outlook isn’t good..."

Tears sprung to his eyes as he continued, "Mr. Wade, you're the only one who can save me in this world. I beg you, please don’t hold my previous ignorance against me—save my life!"

Charlie sighed, "It's not impossible to save your life. I mentioned before that you could be the representative of your group. For your sake, I will definitely provide some assistance."

Upon hearing this, Hank became ecstatic and immediately bowed to Charlie, mumbling, "Thank you, Mr. Wade! Thank you, Mr. Wade!"

Charlie waved his hand, saying, "Don't get too excited just yet. I can help you, but there is a condition."

Hank urgently asked, "Just tell me what it is!"

Charlie explained, "You need to settle the money you were supposed to cash out as soon as possible. I will help with your pancreatic issue as soon as that is resolved."

Hank quickly blurted out, "It will be settled soon—I promise! It will happen today, tonight!"

Charlie nodded and continued, "Your life is important, but when it comes to saving your life and restoring your abilities, you can only choose one of the two!"
