Chapter - 6035

Charlie did not inform Stefanie about this right away.

After he arrived in Eastcliff by plane with Tawanna, he chose not to leave the airport with her.

He had notified Isaac Cameron earlier that he would return to Eastcliff and stay at the Wade residence that night, so Isaac had been waiting at the airport for quite some time.

When their flight touched down in Eastcliff, the airport had made special arrangements to shut down remote flights for the sake of Tawanna's privacy.

At that moment, two VIP vehicles were already poised to welcome them—one for Charlie and the other for Tawanna.

Charlie and Tawanna disembarked the plane together, where Isaac Cameron was already standing by the car, waiting. Charlie turned to Tawanna and said, "Make sure to rest well as you prepare for your performance over the next couple of days. If I receive any updates regarding Miss Sun, I’ll let you know."

"Okay, Mr. Wade!" Tawanna replied respectfully, watching as Charlie got into his car before she climbed into hers.

Once inside the vehicle, Isaac Cameron asked in surprise, "Young Master, why did you travel to Eastcliff with Tawanna?"

Charlie smiled and explained, "I’m currently acting as her Feng Shui consultant. Since she’s here for a concert, I took the opportunity to come along and check things out."

Isaac nodded and remarked, "The Master is waiting for you at home."

"Got it," Charlie replied. "Let’s go see Grandpa first."

Having been separated from Grandpa Wade for some time, Charlie recalled that the old man had recently attended a press conference for Bruce Auto in Aurous Hill.

However, since Charlie had reconciled his past differences with his grandfather, visiting him upon returning to Eastcliff was his top priority.

As Charlie was heading to the Wade family residence, Tawanna and her team arrived at the Shangri-La Hotel, where they would be staying.

Upon Charlie’s arrival at the old Wade house, his grandfather had been waiting for quite a while.

Seeing Charlie, he quickly approached with a warm smile. "Charlie, what brings you back so suddenly?"

Charlie called out, "Grandpa," and gave him a brief overview of his situation.

Understanding the circumstances, the old man sighed and said, "Charlie, you always do this. It’s not appropriate to keep Miss Wilson in the dark for various reasons. Haven’t you considered finding a good moment to share everything with her?"

Charlie shook his head. "I haven’t thought about it. Claire's personality isn’t typical; she’s soft on the outside but strong inside. While she doesn’t judge me for being poor or incompetent, she deeply fears deception. If I share my circumstances, she might not forgive me."

Lord Wade smiled knowingly. "You're underestimating her. Emotions matter more than anything. She values you as a person, not your financial situation. As I get older, I think it’s important for you to talk to Miss Wilson about family life so that there are no lingering misunderstandings. And perhaps think about having more children together."

Charlie sighed, "Grandpa, my concerns are not merely about personal matters, but also about the hidden dangers involved."

Lord Wade pulled him down onto the couch and asked with concern, "Are you still worried about the Warriors Den?"

"It’s more than just the Warriors Den," Charlie replied.

"Well, if you want, you can share more details. Let's have an open discussion," Lord Wade urged.

"Oh!" Charlie sighed again. "Let’s set aside the Warriors Den for now. As for my in-laws’ characters, you must have heard about them, Grandpa."

Lord Wade nodded with a sigh. "I certainly have! Your mother-in-law is quite formidable. Your younger sister has been spoiled for too long and has only faced difficulties with two people: you and your mother-in-law."

Charlie expressed concern, "I can’t share the full truth with Claire, as it relates closely to them. Claire is very filial. If I share this with her, she might break the news to her parents."

"And my in-laws are not easy to handle either. If they find out about my strong background, they might become very arrogant. If that information spreads, it could create serious issues for me."

Lord Wade took a moment to think and then replied seriously, "Yes, that is a valid concern."

Elaine and Jacob are both unpredictable factors, and when they act out, they don’t hold back, especially Elaine.

As this thought crossed his mind, Lord Wade looked a bit forlorn and said, "Charlie, the Wade family has only one pillar from your father’s generation. In your generation, there’s just you. When it comes to the next generation, I believe you're the only one who can carry on the legacy as well as your father did. Therefore, you cannot neglect the matter of having children."

"Regardless of whether you want to confess everything to Miss Wilson soon, having children should be a priority."

Charlie nodded in agreement. "What you say makes sense, Grandpa. I will think this over, but I still believe it's premature to consider having a child now. Morgana hasn’t taken her revenge yet. What if I end up defeated, like my father, and die unexpectedly? What happens to my son then? Should I hide him away until he grows up to avenge me?"

Lord Wade had remained silent for a time, and his eyes were beginning to glisten.

After a long pause, he shared, "A few days ago, I met Orrin."

Charlie recognized that Orrin was Uncle Orrin, Stefanie’s father.

Curious, he asked, "What did you and Uncle Orrin talk about?"

Lord Wade sighed, "Orrin mentioned that Stefanie is considering leaving the entertainment industry. She plans to do nothing after that and just stay with her parents..."

He paused for a moment, looking at Charlie with serious eyes. "She’s waiting for you."

"Waiting for me?"

Charlie suddenly remembered Uncle Orrin's three-year agreement.

He had said he would allow Charlie time to sort out the marriage issue before marrying Stefanie three years later.

At the time, he didn’t directly reject the idea.

After all, it was a marriage contract made by their parents and Orrin was his father's closest friend. How could he refuse him openly?

But time always seemed to fly.

Three years had passed quickly.

Noticing Charlie’s silence, Lord Wade continued, "Orrin is concerned about your future family. As your father’s good friend, he cares about your family’s legacy..."

Sensing something significant in his grandfather's words, Charlie urged, "Grandpa, please speak plainly. We are just the two of us here, with no outsiders around."

Lord Wade nodded and spoke deliberately, "Orrin suggests that while you may not marry Stefanie right now, he hopes Stefanie can have your child—your bloodline—before marriage."

"What? That’s not possible!" Charlie stood up, firmly refusing. "I can’t give Stefanie a title, nor can I keep the child comfortably. This is inappropriate for so many reasons!"

"You’re being unreasonable!" Lord Wade rarely raised his voice in front of Charlie but did so sternly now. "The Sun family is well-known and highly respected. Stefanie is the only daughter of the Sun family, not to mention a superstar renowned among millions. Saying she’s treated like royalty wouldn’t be an exaggeration! For someone of her stature, your Uncle Orrin is willing to let her conceive before marriage. Are you really going to turn that down? What does that say about your Uncle Orrin’s standing?"

As he spoke, Lord Wade added, "This isn't just Uncle Orrin's idea. This is a consensus among him and his entire family!"
